The way I screamed when TheeWave and Teeteepor came on screen. I waited 6 1/2 hours for that. They were one of the last trailers in an 8 hour livestream I watched. It was madness, but I’m glad I stayed.

If you're ever interested in reacting to a GL I'd recommend Clairebelle, it's a really good show. It's such a different vibe from other Thai shows, I honestly wasn't expecting it

With Thee (one of Qins friends in Duang with you) came up and you said “oh this guy is in this too!” I laughed out loud :D it was a whole thing of him joining. He wasn’t signed with domundi when he was on Duang with you and wasn’t supposed to necessarily appear in something else again, but he was shipped so hard with another person that he got signed and now is officially part of domundi. But this wasn’t really fully announced which pairing he was and if he was there to stay. Then he appeared in this trailer after 6 hours of livestream and the community lost it. Especially because he wasn’t at the event because he was still in Japan. It was wild, honestly.

In regards to friend benefit: the idol story is actually not left field at all, because it’s paralleling the actors life. Might be random if you don’t know a lot about them yet. The actors from the ghost one (TutorYim) are in a boy band with Teetee and Por in real life. They’re all there, Jamessu is also part of it. They’re called DEXX. Pokpik and JaiJai are like P’Por and Teetee. And they’re always joking in interviews especially with Dexx how Teetee and Por do a lot of things that friends wouldn’t do like hold hands and say good night every night. Tee is not a player in real life, but that’s where some of the inspiration is from :) And they will for sure not get rid of the idol plot because that’s the point of Auau, Tutor and Yim being there because they’re from Dexx and the original soundtrack will probably be Dexx as well. So they can improve but not get rid of the idol plot

Oh and idol culture in Thailand is quite different. You can be part of a survival show pretty early and become a trainee so meeting people in Highschool for your idol group is not that uncommon I guess. Teetee and Por both were part of survival shows to become idols and there are also school competitions etc.

Also, you should watch The Next Prince. It stars ZeeNuNew (the main couple in Passenger Seat Number X and the one you think is so hot 🤣) it’s a little long but it’s good, Zee looks hot AF AND it gets kinda spicy. Also has NetJj in it (the ones from 30 Days of Us). A good watch :)

Let me explain a few things about some of your thoughts/questions (sorry if it’s long): -For 30 Days of Us, regarding the age casting you mentioned: they both got married at 19 and 22, so they did marry young. The actors (NetJj) are currently 26 and 29, so to me it’s not that shocking that they still look young and as we know asian usually look younger + they will definitely put more effort in giving them an older look for the actual show. I also feel like a 12-episode show would be too long, so I really hope they go for a maximum of 6 episodes. Since the show won’t air right away, I recommend watching Love Upon a Time,it’s their own show that just ended (historical/time travel trope), with the side couple (LatteKim) from the mairmen show you were interested in. -For Friend Benefit, regarding the idol aspect: honestly, popularity and celebrity status are very different in Thailand. That’s why some things may seem off to us, but not to them. However, I don’t think they’ll remove the idol plot. As we’ve seen with GMMTV, ThamePo was BIG and helped promote LYKN a lot. Now they have Teeteepor, who got REALLY popular with Duang With You, so including their own group DEXX in this show is basically free promotion. The group has six members: TeeteePor (who you know from Duang With You), TutorYim from the ghost show, James, and Auau (who is paired with Save, though not in DEXX). They’re the second lead couple in this show and also the main couple of their own show Mr. Fanboy, which you saw earlier. -Lastly, yes, we shouldn’t get too attached to the pilot since it’s mainly there to build interest and attract sponsors. These shows could be released in two years with major changes. But I think 30 Days of Us might come out faster because it was shot with only one camera and a very small production team, giving it more of an indie Japanese vibe. Overall, it was a good lineup. Some shows are less interesting to me as well, so I really hope they make some improvements.
