Still working on the rest of the variations for the $3 supporters, but I thought I'd post this one now!

Brookie

He is terrifying and hot and I dig it so much.

Yuki

This came out absolutely superb. Love how stocky you made him, though I'd have made his tail tuft floofier xD The mistletoe was also a nice touch. Satyr boys are my favs

Bulph

god bless

turbanous

Dem legs, and Dat ball. Mmmmm

Blitz Turner

Amazing again. I wonder though, since you work in a more traditional medium style than I do, are there any process videos of you working on something (absolutely anything) My new art program doesn't have gradient tools, and I am a comic style lasso and gradient colorist. So I'm looking to learn a more painterly style like yours. No harm if not but I couldn't think of someone who I'd rather this from. :P

Alan

Move over Santa! 😍

I used to do livestreams on livestream and later picarto, but I haven't in a while, haha. I LOVE your style! I'm honestly shocked that you would want to change it

Blitz Turner

I dont want to change it exactly, it's more necessity. I like the way i do things, i find it fun and it gives me a look i like, but my tech is a bit old at this point and cant keep up. So i gotta shake things up until I get new stuff. Anyway now that you say picarto and livestream im sure i can find you. Thanks for the tip

marccus

Ah I understand, what are you using right now? Also, I'll try to do some livestreams this year, haha, I'll just need to remember how to set it up again

Blitz Turner

I've been using Clip since it was Illuststudio and I love it and I'm comfortable in it. But...my dog broke my Cintiq a year ago and I've been on my ipad pro all year. And clip is on it and its great but My ipad is a bit old and it just cant handle the pictures i'm doing, and the interface is finnicky and small. So i'm switching to Procreate. I was really skeptical at first but I did a few courses on it, and its actually a great program. Its really fun too. But its definitely more of a traditional medium style app. Misses a lot of the tools I usually use. At this point I'm waiting to get a new mac/cintiq but that's going to take a while. You know how expensive they are. So instead I'm using Procreate until Adobe Gemini/Photoshop comes out on Ipad. All the power of adobe with the ui of procreate and the features of clip. Sorry, I can talk for hours about art programs and apps right now.

marccus

Man, I tried procreate and I COULD NOT get into it for the life of me, hahaha, same with clip studio actually, I really loved how good the linework was but I wasn't used to being able to customize the brushes to that degree and I got discouraged from using it further

Blitz Turner

I’ve never used photoshop. When I started I was using sai then illuststudio then clip. I tried to get into photoshop but it felt exactly like how you’re describing clip to me. Procreate has taken a lot of effort to learn. It just doesn’t work like any of the others and half the features are hidden in odd places. But those eccentricities actually make it a blast to use. I did most of my inking in it this month and I painted a lot of barret in it but I kept getting frustrated and moving to clip to Colour them and moving back to finish the pics off. Don’t worry though. I’m looking to learn how to paint a bit to fit into procreates system but I also want my work to largely look the same as it does now. I love me some chunky smooth lines

Artem

Ohoho! Now he's my favorite character from your collection. After the handsome elf guy from Eldet, of course, that one is unbeatable.

marccus

Oh man you reminded me of SAI... I actually started out using sai, and for coloring it was actually my favorite (once I got my brush settings figured out...which took FOREVER) hahaha

Blitz Turner

Oh man. I wish people realised how much of the “job” is brush’s and their settings. Also learning programs and social media and maintaining galleries and practising and coming up with ideas and existentially staring into an art block abyss. #Artiststuff

marccus

Because Krampus wants you to have a good christmas! ;)

Ken

Beautiful work and really love the detail you put into your work.

KendallPB

Mmm! And the mistletoe, hahaha!
