August Philanthropy (Pinup suggestions!) (Patreon)

Hey folks!  I hope you're having a great summer (if it's summer in your part of the world!)

PLEASE READ: I have to announce a big change regarding the pinups:

Due to updated patreon terms of service, pinups cannot be selected via RNG.

How are they chosen now?

In order to stay within the terms of service, pinup suggestions are treated like votes.  Whichever pinup suggestions have the most votes on the list, those are the ones that will be selected to be drawn for the month.  HOWEVER: The 10 vote rule still applies.  Any suggestion which gets 10 vote is automatically added to the draw queue.  

>If there are multiple characters on the 10-Vote list, the top three characters from that list are chosen.  If there are no characters on the 10-vote list, the characters with the 3 highest vote totals are chosen. Any new characters which reach 10 votes are added to the bottom of that list.

>additional votes past 10 does not increase their position on the draw list, so please feel free to vote for a new character once one has reached 10, or specify that you'd like to add them to the regular suggestion list for a second time. 

Although I liked the prior system, I believe this new system is better for a couple main reasons.

Why is the new system better?

> More consistent supporters/voters will get their characters drawn sooner

Currently, there are 146 characters on the list who have only been suggested one time.  At a rate of 3 pinups per month, that's four years worth of pinups with only 1 suggestion to their name.  This new system will prioritize both the characters more people want to see, as well as allow consistent supporters to always get their character drawn no matter what.

> It is significantly cheaper than it would be to commission me

Although I am not currently offering commissions, the last time I had open slots, my rate for a 1-character commission was $125.  Through this character suggestion route, a single character illustration is only $50 at the maximum, or even less if other people are suggesting the same character.  Furthermore, on patreon I do variations for each pinup, which would cost extra via commission.

I hope that is a sufficient explanation of why the change is happening, and how things will work from now on!

One last thing: I have added a new funding goal, which will add a 4th pinup slot each month so long as the funding goal continues to be met! So, as of now, there will be 4 pinups per month instead of three!

To reiterate the two latest changes:

1) If you support me with more than $5 each month, ($10, $15, up to $20), you gain 1 additional suggestion per each $5, but it *must* be for different characters--up to 4 characters total.

Criteria:

This is strictly fanart (no original characters) and they have to be a character I'm able to google and find reference pictures, and the characters have to be adults; 18 years or older.

Characters who have already been drawn once CAN be suggested again! 

How the pinup is decided:

Whichever 3 pinups have the most suggestions when the suggestion period is over will be chosen to be drawn. 

Priority is given to any character on the 10 votes list first.

 If a character is suggested 10 times, it will be added to a second list, the "Draw Queue", in which it will be drawn first, before selecting any characters with less than 10 votes.  If 3 or more characters have 10 votes, the top 3 characters on the list will be drawn.

How to suggest: 

Comment which character you'd like me to draw on this post!

People who support with more than $5 a month may suggest multiple characters for each multiple of $5 ($20 a month = 4 suggestions).

What happens when a character is chosen:

When a character is chosen, that character, and any multiples of that character, are removed from the list, and they're added to the draw queue for that month.
