EPISODE 6 PROGRESS - 09/07/15 (Patreon)

Woo!  First episode progress post!  

So working on the Patreon stuff has caused a little bit of a dent in the time I'd usually take for the episode.  Also, I ended up spending a lot of August away from my desk.  I'm a little mad I'm not further along.  But rest assured, I've been working diligently on it.

So this one is a long one.  Even longer than the last one.  I wouldn't be surprised if it went over ten minutes.  And I'm kicking myself because I really wanted to make it shorter, so I could get it out quicker.  But I've had this idea for a few months, and when I finally put it down to paper, it ended up being....well, really long.

At this point, it's completely written, and all the principle lines have been voiced for, save for a few re-takes (a LOT for Charmander actually) and one new cast member who's voice is recovering.  There are a whopping THREE new characters in this episode.   Most of the props are done.  I commissioned two big set pieces for this one.  One of which I'm not sure I'm done with, hence the "?".  Set C will require a lot of dressing, and Act 2 is going to be a major pain.

Also, this time around, I FINALLY have another animator on the project.  (Check out his work.  It's pretty great.)  Hopefully, his talent should help both speed up the process and improve the animation.   I'm really excited to have him on board.  Alas, I can't really start any animation until I have ALL the voices, so most of the work is going into props and set dressing until then.   I'm hoping once all the voices are in, we can make some serious progress.   Until then, I'll continue getting the Episode 4 and 5 bonus content out.
