Hi all!

First, some news.  The Starter Squad Discord is now up and running.  Click here for info on connecting your Patreon and Discord accounts.  If you've already linked your Patreon and Discord accounts, you've already be added to the server!  I noticed that a lot of you were added automatically.  Sorry if it came off as a surprise to you.  I didn't know it would do that.

If you don't want to link you Patreon and Discord accounts, but still want to join the server, send me a message and I'll send you an invite.

Alright, so - All voicing is now complete.  Everything is now sequential and timed out completely.  I've passed the audio onto my sound editor who is currently cleaning it up to ensure the dialogue sounds its best and preparing for the eventual sound design that will come with the episode.

I spent a good amount of this week corresponding with and crafting specific instructions for 3D artists so that the assets can be true to the vision of the episode.  I have one currently working on a large complex model and another working on a large 3D environment.  The latter has told me she'll be finished with it at the start of July.   I am hoping whichever one finishes first can get started on the other set that I need built, but I'll have to see how the results look.

I have been corresponding with my animators, one of which is working on a second round of assignments that I've given him, the other is still working on set dressing, who will be done soon and move on to lip sync.  I've also begun corresponding with a storyboard artist, who is going to tackle the three major fight scenes of this episode.

The episode, as a whole, can be broken down into seven parts- A (25%), B (9%), C (17%), D (7%), F (26%), G (6%), and F2 (11%).  D, are G will be easy.  I could probably do those on my own and work on them while I'm waiting for people to turn things in.  B is straightforward and I could probably hire most of it out to a single animator.  C is straightforward and I'm not to worried about it.  A is harder.  I will need help with A and I'm definitely going to need to finish the layout pass this week.  F (both parts) is going to be the hardest.  I can't actually start working on it yet, as I need the assets to be completed, and I'm probably going to need a lot of help on it.  Unfortunately, I think I have to save it for last.  This upcoming week, I'll be focusing a lot on A.  If I can get a handle on that, the rest will (hopefully) follow.

To be completely honest, I lost a lot of focus at the beginning of this week and it wasn't until the second half of the week that I was able to recompose myself and pick up a lot of slack.  Having to juggle so many pieces has proved challenging and I'm hoping to do better this upcoming week now that I have things a bit more organized.  In the very least, I'm glad to have been able to acquire some really talented 3D artists that can bring the vision to life.

Thank you, once again, for your support.

Remember you still need to make 2 more episodes after this don’t use all your energy on this.

Can we get some evolution and a final battle and a happy ending of how ash catches charmander, squrtle and bulbasaur and then fats toward in time of short battles segments with ash and the starters winning a Pokémon league.

Krispin

Don't be too hard on yourself. Rest when you need to. You're awesome!
