Episode 10 Update - 07/15/20 (Patreon)

Hey all - Lots of stuff happening.

At this point, I am actively working with three 3D Artists simultaneously.  We've gotten a good amount of progress this week.  Looking at what we have now, it's a huge jump in quality from, say, Episode 5, and I hope people will appreciate all the extra attention.  I'm thinking I'm going to be working for about 3 more weeks with these artists, and then I should have all of the assets I need.

My main animation guy is currently working on an asset, and will then be moving on to doing the rest of scene "B" thereafter.  I am still working with my storyboard artist on the "A" boards, and will probably continue doing so into next week.  There is a lot in "A" that I really want to get right, and considering how much it comprises the "hook" at the beginning of the episode, it's a huge deal to me, so I want to make sure I have it all set up correctly.  I am really hoping that my perfectionism doesn't get in the way of progressing with "A".

This week, I personally completed all of the character animation for scene "G".  The entire scene is now finished and I have moved on to scene "D".  If I can finish "D" in the next two weeks, I'll have stayed with my goal of getting "B" "D" and "G" finished by the end of the month.   The three scenes combined makes up approximately 1/4th the animation of the episode.   Having 1/4th of the animation for the episode done by month's end would just be fantastic for me, so I'd really like to make that push for the next two weeks.  

A, C, and F comprise the other 75%.  I am much less worried about "C" and have all the assets I need for it right now.  Being that it's so simple and such a big chunk of the episode, I'm actually pretty amped up to do it.  "A" looks doable, but there is so much to do.  I'm a little scared to touch it just yet.  "F" still looms in the distance, but I am working my way there.  So far, this episode has felt like my own personal mountain to climb, and even though I still feel like I'm near the bottom, I know that with continual effort, I will eventually reach the top.
