Heya! I've been working on this pretty diligently. Please excuse me for not updating the Patreon page with bonuses and stuff, as I've had to focus on getting all the pre-production stuff for the episode juuust right.
I took about two months getting the script to exactly where I wanted it, and I'm very glad I did. I got to work all the kinks out. At this point, I've also gotten the bulk of all the voice acting finished. As I'm typing this, I've just completed a session with Bulbasaur's voice actor and have all of his lines. Now I can record my own lines and, I'll be able to move on to the heart of the animation. The only parts left to voice are minor roles.
The modeling is more or less complete. All of the major stuff with the 3D artist is done. There are a few models and some details I'd like to flesh out here and there, but with what I have, I can pretty much start animating and get a bulk of the episode done.
From a purely visual standpoint, I think this is going to be the best episode. I'm really pushing myself with the models and what I've done with the animation so far. I've been re-doing a lot of my core animations as well. I'm pretty excited to try to pull off some of the stuff I've written for it. This one brings us into a lot of new territory.
This episode is also by far the longest, once again. To put it in perspective: The Episode 2 script was 3 pages long. The Episode 8 script is 19 pages. However, I am working a lot more diligently on this than I have the last episode, so I'm still shooting for a release in Spring. I'll try to release some more bonus content when I can, which will probably be when I'm knee-deep in the character animation.
