I wanted to share some behind the scenes facts with you guys - this audio was one of the most technically difficult I’ve ever produced. To start with, it was from a script by my good friend /u/leytod, which means, as with all scripts I do, that I read it cold and don’t look at the script too closely before I record.

I tried to experiment with placing the recorder at different spots to mimic you turning away from me and then turning back...I don't know how well that turned out, but that was the idea :P

Then there was the ‘moving out to the car’ thing, which was a bit of a challenge with my new zoom recorder - and then, right in the middle of recording, it started to rain, really hard. I figured it added a bit of ambience, so I went with it!

This is for those shy people out there (like me) who always wished they could be a bit braver and tell an attractive stranger they’re interested.

Eve’s greatest hits - I love what you’ve been doing here lately. I’m going to geek out on this one, please forgive me. I do apologize to our fellow Patreons for my selfish verbosity: This audio honestly reminded me of the woman I lost my virginity to. >> I swear : Her name was Eve. << I kid you not. Like your character did here, she took her time and made sure I felt sexy and cared for and confident. Listening to this audio, I got that same butterflies-in-my-stomach feeling that I did with her during my first time. Wow. I have goosebumps as I type this. Thank you for bringing that once-in-a-lifetime feeling back for me. I sometimes wonder, how many really great women did I miss, just because I was too shy to tell them I found them compelling? And, how many really great women were interested in me, but were too shy to let me know. I will never know. Sigh. The audio recording quality of this one was simply exquisite. My ears are super sensitive to listening. I could hear right away the high-end recording quality in this one. It’s “round”, and 3-dimensional – but the binaural effect isn’t forced like many ASMRs tend to get. The sound is very natural and organic, and definitely helps to articulate the plot, which is exactly what you were going for. Good art is compelling not just for what the artist was trying to convey, but also for what we ourselves find in it. I honestly love that about your audios – you’re in them, and you also leave space for your listener to find themselves in them too. Your imagination and ability to articulate emotion with your voice is your sexiest attribute. This one will be my go-to for a while.
