Loki Episode 5 & 6- FINALE!

Aldo Gonzales

Episode 5 had my favorite funny moment in the season: The Loki Smackdown. If I were there, I would’ve been like Michael Buffer and yell “LET’S GET READY TO RUMBLE!!!!!!” When Analyst Loki saw his President variant being betrayed by his army, he had that look on his face that said, "God, I'm so immature." He also looked annoyed when his Boastful variant yelled glorious purpose during the fight. Now he knows for sure he’d rather stand out of the crowd. To help you understand why this is a big deal, He Who Remains' real name is Nathaniel Richards. In the comics, Nathaniel is better known as Kang the Conqueror. They’re setting him up to be the MCU’s next big bad since Thanos. If you wanna dive into Loki season 2 already, all you have to do is watch Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.

Gio Bellisario

Loki season 2 came out after Secret invasion

DarrellWaller

He Who Remains is much different than his variant, KANG THE CONQUEROR. Kang is an old school Avengers villian and this all will lead up to Secret Wars. An Endgame type of event. At the moment, nothing really seems connected (phase 4 and 5 are introducing new characters right now. ) It's interesting to see where they are going with all this. It's exciting!

Jack Ross

I would say screw it and watch ant man 3 and season 2 now, but I understand y'all got a order that you wanna stick to, season 2 is just SOOO good. I'm pretty sure you'll get to watch it after secret invasion, so still a while away 😔

Aldo Gonzales

Secret Invasion is an easy skip. I already told them and Reacts with Jax how to get to Loki season 2 a bit quicker if they’re interested.

Gio Bellisario

Def not saying they should react to all series. I think it’s best to do it in the order they release though

Sam Rivera

Looks like the video playback in the mobile app is working for iOS with the most recent update

Jonny

So this villain is actually extremely powerful. He is a multiversal threat on the level of Thanos. So Marvel just has to get his character right

DarrellWaller

Black Widow is next and Brooke, you are REAL close to what that movie is all about. No spoilers, but don't miss the end credit scenes. It sets up Hawkeye. New characters are introduced which will be around for a long time in this next phase. Can't wait!!

Peter K

They really should watch Daredevil season 1 before Hawkeye, the end of that series will make more sense if the learn about DD and his main adversary first.

Peter K

As to how to view the MCU, look at it this way, if you skipped Ant Man and the Wasp and Captain Marvel, just watching Endgame after Infinity War, things about EG would be confusing in certain parts. I would stick to the release order and insert Daredevil season 1 before Hawkeye. It will take a month or two to get to Loki 2, but at least you don't have to wait as long as those who watched it the way it was released. Not to mention there is some really good stuff coming up, and at the end of the day y'all will be properly entertained.

Caleb

Watch antman 3 and then Loki season 2. Antman 3 has no connection to the other mcu stuff before it. I can’t wait for these Batman reactions!

Boerben

you will not believe what happens in Loki Season 2. Too bad you have to watch other stuff beforee that.

Gio Bellisario

When something or someone is pruned it is sent to the void at the end of time because matter can’t truly destroyed and then allioth eats its There’s the beginning of time the sacred timeline and at the end is a avoid if you go even past that is a place outside space and time where he who remains was in the void we saw the avengers tower, the sanctum from dr strange, a frog Thor (in the comics Loki turns Thor into a frog at one point just like how Loki turned himself into a snake and bit Thor when they were little

Gio Bellisario

The person who voices Miss Minutes is the voice of Timmy Turner

Emili

I cannot wait for y'all to get further into phase 4, and esp phase 5!! Lots of good stuff ahead. There is still a lot of setup to come--introducing new characters and new concepts--but with marvel you know it all pays off. You'll have the big overarching multiverse story, the street level stories, the space stories, and the supernatural being introduced too!

Gio Bellisario

Also yes Loki was the first to meet thanos/ introduce us to the big villain of the infinity saga. Which is what they are doing here Loki is the first to meet the big villain of the multiverse saga. He who remains was just a variant a more nicer waring type version of the next big bad

ShittyShittyGameGang

Season 2 is soooo frikking good but I say stick to your plans of doing the release order if you can!

ShittyShittyGameGang

If I could visit specific times in history I'd just party it up and visit all kinds of concerts/festivals. Maybe I'd go to sets where some of my favorite movies were made and get to to be part of making them. That'd be pretty awesome!

Hitmon

Wtf i hate lotion and creams too. Honestly thought I was the only one in the world.

TONYA JACKSON

I highly recommend looking at some of the comic strips with the Thanos Copter. They're hilariously goofy

o.o

batman will be fun. loki season 2 is amazing. best series. loki season one was just a precursor to something much bigger. but lets go batman! black widow was a miss for me, but looking forward to you reacting to it. Hawkeye series is amazingly fun. Probably the most "fun" with great chemistry and story telling.

Gypsysoul

Can't wait for Multiverse of Madness! Keep up the awesome work 🤩 🤩

RegTravels

I don't like having lotion on my hands. As soon as I've put it on everywhere, I wipe my hands with the towel. I don't like the greasy feeling. I thought I was the only one!!!!!!!

Peter K

Kind of a spoiler post, you could let them find out certain specifics on their own. I also wish you would stop trying to get them to jump around the releases because you like this story line so much. Just be patient and let them see it the way we all did, it is what they already committed to do. I think most of us would like them to continue in the original release order. They just got to squeeze in the first season of Daredevil before Hawkeye, so they understand that part of the MCU that will pop up several times in upcomimg shows and movies.

Aldo Gonzales

Look who’s spoiling. I’m not trying to rush them. I’m just giving them another option. I did say if they want to. You on the other hand are spoiling Hawkeye. Delete your comment or edit it now.

TONYA JACKSON

I feel like I might have sparked all of the Lost comments 😅 I asked them about it a few days ago

TheOctobers

He doesn't even do that, I AM HIS LOTION HANDS! -Mrs O!

TheOctobers

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS! thanks for letting us know also!

Peter K

I did no more than those who wanted them to, rightfully, see XMen before WV. You dropped a major plot point that they could have found on their own shortly. Two of my favorite MCU shows are completely outside the main story line, Moon Knight and Werewolf By Night. But as much as I'd like to ask them to do them sooner rather than later, it is better to have them view all of it the way it was released. Let's not bicker, I understand your enthusiasm to see Loki 2, but they are just a month or two away at the rate they are going, and there is some really good stuff in between. But you aren't alone, seems others are just too pumped about what's coming to stay quiet about it. And BTW, with certain things in the real world affecting future offerings, we don't know if they will even pursue the original plan, so why even talk about it? It's just speculation at this point.

Aldo Gonzales

Never in a moment did I want them to rush into the second season. You’re assuming that I am. I know it’s their choice. All I’m doing is giving them an idea. And once again, please edit your other comment. You’re the one spoiling.

Peter K

I am genuinely curious to see how they react to all of them, I suspect they will like stuff the OG fan boys dismissed even before they watched them. What series or movies would you leave out?

Peter K

Specifically, tell me what is a spoiler in my post, asking them to do a certain show before another? I didn't drop anything to spoil anything. Please clarify what you think is a spoiler. I said no more than those who petitioned for the Xmen, nothing spoiled, apart from the relevance of one show in the bigger picture. Just like the XMen movies.

Aldo Gonzales

Mentioning Daredevil to watch Hawkeye. That’s saying too much.

MightyBigMeech

Mr. October, Y'all keep talking about how the show is copying Lost, Wizard of Oz, etc. But keep in mind that all these movies and TV shows came from comic books. Which literally came out wayyyy back in the 50s LOL

asia roberson

Don't tell them to skip secret invasion. Let's them see for themselves if they like it. Stop telling them to skip shows. It very annoying. Plus ➕️ they need to see secret invasion for them to understand the second captain marvel movie

asia roberson

B besides Mr October's like nick fury alot so he not gonna want to skip that show

asia roberson

Hey 👋 guys You don't watch loki season 2 until after antman and the wasp quantumania in phase 6

asia roberson

That where you see Kang the conquerer. The actual Kang. This one is a variant. He supposedly bigger than Thanos

CheshireKat528

Loved this! Knew you guys would enjoy this one with all it’s trippy time travel quantum physics goodness!!! I LOVED H.W.R!!! What I really enjoy about him as a main villain, is that he has already won! He has figured out a way to control time on a multiversal level. I love his last line of “See you soon” with the wink and a smile, because he knows how this will end, because from his perspective it has all already happened! How do beat someone that has already won?!?!? One of my favorite quotes from a work of fiction is from the 1953 Disney animated movie version of Peter Pan, the opening line of dialogue is “All this has happened before, and it will all happen again…” It is my favorite way to view life and time, as a constant cycle, birth, life, death and rebirth. So fitting for the current MCU saga. This finale was so good, I love how except the small fight between Sylvie & Loki, we just had people sitting and talking almost the whole time. Even throughout the show, the majority was just conversations, usually just a couple of people sitting in a room talking and pondering the meaning of it all, but the execution and writing was so awesome, that it all worked. Not to mention the amazing chemistry between the actors. Especially, Tom Hiddleston and Owen Wilson, of course Tom Hiddleston and Sophia DeMartino (Sylvie) had some good chemistry as well. I think Tom is just one of those actors that you can pair with anyone and he just clicks. He has such natural talent and charisma that he just meshes with everyone! Tom also has so much love for this character, you can feel his commitment and enthusiasm in interviews. He is the first of the MCU actors to take a producer role and it shows. He really took charge with Loki and made sure to do right by him in his first solo outing. Top marks all around!!! This was a blast to revisit with you guys, so much more good stuff on the horizon!!!

CheshireKat528

WE LOVE LOKI GATOR!!! 💚🗡️🐍🐊🗡️💚

CheshireKat528

RIP Classic Loki 😔 Went out like a true god! Also, we saw in Ragnarok that prime Loki was able to access and make people recall/relive their memories by touching them. We see him do this to Valkyrie when they are having a hand to hand fight. He grabs her head and says “must be a painful memory…” and we see her memory of Hela killing all the other Valkyries and her friend jumping in front of her to save her. So, yes, as Loki ages, and uses his magic more the stronger it becomes and the more abilities he is able to access, like telekinesis and enchantment.

CheshireKat528

Also, there is a theory that Kid Loki killed his Thor by accident. In Ragnarok our Thor tells a story to Bruce and Valkyrie about him and Loki as children and a time when Loki “tried to kill him” “…This one time when we were children he transformed himself into a snake. And he knows that I love snakes. So I went to pick up the snake to admire it, and he transformed back into himself and he says “MYAH it’s me”. And then he stabbed me. We were 8 at the time.” The theory is that in Kid Loki’s timeline his Thor died from this prank stabbing.

CheshireKat528

I could go on forever about this show, but one last shout out to the score and the musical genius of composer Natalie Holt! The music in this series is so epic and perfect, one of my favorite scores of Marvel!!!

asia roberson

Also the villain in dd is in Hawkeye. They should watch dd season 1 before Hawkeye and then if they want to continue dd, they can

Thadman

Good point. I hadn't related what he did with Valkyrie to enchantment.

reactive1

I haven't seen "Lost" so you are losing me with those comparisons.

K'Banj

There is a lot of Lokis, more than anyone else as Mobius said, because besides being a survivor, Loki is the character who most tries to change, but as they said, every time a Loki tries to change the TVA shows up to prune them and set their timeline back to the "villainous" Loki. I love the MCU, but their biggest mistake was letting Jonathan go, I was excited for the Kang dynasty and I cannot see anyone else playing Kang the Conqueror!
