Best part is Captain Genocide lol.

We will knock out this series in between watching all this stuff below, but absolutely loving this, do we have to wait for season 2?

This series is the last time Chadwick Boseman played T'Challa 😢🙏🏿

Hey 👋 guys glad you doing this series 👍. So good. Ik you want to see season 2 right away but it best if you do it in release order because of spoilers stuffs. Don't worry you be in phase 6 before you know it. BTW what if season 2 come after loki season 2.

asia roberson

BTW after what if season 1 is shang-chi legend of the 10 rings 💍 🤔 😄. I can't wait for you to react to this one. It so good 👍

Funny I just finished the original post with no issues, wonder why the repost. Anyways, I love this series and it makes sense. In Loki we freed the timeline to let it branch out, and now this series shows the different branches of the timeline. I have a personal favorite episode. Haven't seen season 2 yet, but I'm close, just need to finish a series and then another one and then season 2 of What If..? Also in case you didn't know, What If..? is a based on many Marvel What If.. comics, so we comic fans were very hyped about seeing some of those stories, or concepts come to life.

asia roberson

Just so you know, episode's 9 has a post 📫 credit scene

TheOctobers

on our end it wouldnt play so we just re uploaded and it worked. idk

Yea, everything you see in the “What If… “ episodes is a result of Syvlie killing He Who Remains in Loki giving us the multiverse.

The Watcher is a being named Uatu who watches over Earth. He is sworn not to interfere with anything, just watch and record what happens. The cool tie in here is all the Stan Lee cameos confirmed that he was a Watcher too. Remember the cameo in GOTG vol 2 ? He was talking to the other Watchers. Stan was a Watcher the whole time which was why he was in every movie!! Kinda cool. huh?

💯 stick to release order, otherwise there will be things they don’t understand in season two.

Aldo Gonzales

Not true, Cheshire. What If doesn’t reference anything major from other projects. All we need to do is keep our mouths shut.

Aldo Gonzales

I swear I won’t spoil anything, but as someone who’s caught up with the MCU I can assure that What If season 2 won’t give away anything from the other shows and movies you’ve yet to catch up on as long as everyone else keeps their mouths shut. My only advice is that you guys should watch the first six episodes before you start watching other MCU content alongside. After covering season 1 episode 6, you can watch the rest of the show along with the next movie Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. What’s cool about this series is the concept of how certain things could’ve panned out if they happened in a different manner. The animation is pretty wild as well. Drawing up even one episode is a challenge. The Spider-Verse are also proof of that. However, the possibilities are near endless especially if we compare it to live-action. Sure it’s possible to do it that way as well, but it has its’ own challenges to endure and expenses to cover. At least the art team can go nuts and the live-action team can have more room and time to work on their own thing. Apparently, it was Karen Gillan's idea to have Nebula nickname T'Challa "Cha-Cha". She surprised everyone with her improv when she recorded for this episode. One of the things I was worried about was how they were gonna develop T'Challa's personality as Star-Lord, but I was taken aback by how well this episode was put together. T'Challa had already developed a good influence when he was taken from Wakanda, and through his inner goodness he was able to change the Ravagers' ways, stop Thanos from experimenting further on Nebula, and essentially save his dimension. Also, Peter's first spaceship was called the Milano (named after Alyssa Milano), but T'Challa named his spaceship the Mandela (named after the late activist and president Nelson Mandela). This was one of the last things Chadwick Boseman worked on. He was able to record all of the lines he needed to do before his passing. We can't wait for you to get to Wakanda Forever.

Finally, the answer to the question: What if...the Octobers watched "What If"?

Jim Schmitz

I remember actually reading the comic where the Watcher interfered. It was because the bad guys were attacking the Watcher's home world.

Gio Bellisario

The one thing I like about animation is that they are able to show you what the characters can really do that is normally hard to make in live action

Gio Bellisario

The Watcher a wild guy he’s just been chilling watching everything play out and not helping out at all

This is Chadwick's last role before he passed. He recorded his parts first under his request so that he could get it done before his cancer took over.

CheshireKat528

I wasn’t just thinking of references to other projects in the technical sense. More so the visual impact of certain things and how the October’s emotional responses and reactions may be different if watched out of release order and out of context. Watching season two now could be cheating them and ourselves out of genuine first time reaction moments in not only season 2 of What If, but also anything it references that they don’t have the context for yet. Scenes or conversations that may have garnered one reaction when watched in release order like the rest of us. Vs. The Octobers may not even think twice about something because the build up has been lost by watching out of release order. Ultimately it is up to them and I am good with whatever they want to do. Personally, I prefer for the reactors I watch to experience the MCU as close to the way we have in real time as they possibly can, but I understand that isn’t always everyone’s preferred viewing, or always possible, or practical.

Guys, this is the 1940’s it doesn’t matter if peggy is the female version of Mike Tyson, clowns will still talk shit & legit think women can’t fight to some degree. Might sound crazy now but in the 1940’s? Not crazy at all to them Women are baby makers, maids, dishwashers, mothers & cooks at that time. Sorry face facts, not talking shit, talking reality, & a woman super soldier? No she’s just a woman at that point to them
