Game of Thrones Season 6 Episode 9 – “Battle of the Bastards” (GOT 6x9) REACTION!

WHAT. A. FREAKING. EPISODE!! Ya’ll told us this was one of the best episodes of Game of Thrones, and you were ABSOLUTELY RIGHT. This was worth every bit of the hype!

We had to watch this one separately from Episode 10, and THANK YOU to everyone who told us to do that. This episode deserved its own reaction!

The Battle of the Bastards was incredible from beginning to end. The way this episode was shot made us feel like we were right there in the middle of the battle with Jon. The horses, the piles of bodies, Jon nearly being crushed... this was STRESSFUL!!

And JON SNOW!! This man really stood there ready to fight an entire army by himself 😂 One of the most badass shots we've seen in the entire show!

Then SANSA CAME THROUGH!! Seeing her bring in the Knights of the Vale and FINALLY get her revenge on Ramsay was SO satisfying. After everything Ramsay put her through, watching those dogs turn on him was the PERFECT ending.

And we haven't even talked about DAENERYS RIDING DROGON INTO BATTLE!! 🔥🔥🔥 Between Dany and Jon, this episode gave us some of the coolest moments of the entire series.

The cinematography, drama, carnage, heartbreak, and payoff were all incredible.

BRAVO GAME OF THRONES!!

Now onto Episode 10... How the heck are they supposed to top THAT?! ❤️

I still remember how I felt when I watched these 2 episodes.. it felt like a cheat code, like "is this really included in my HBO subscription!?" lol.. these 2 episodes changed TV yet again... or at least it didn't feel like regular TV, it really felt like witnessing something special... so excited to share this with you guys!

It’s not that Ramsay just doesn’t have honor, but Jon’s proposal for a duel would just be straight up stupid to take. Ramsay’s army won’t care that he decided to take a strategic route and win with soldiers instead of in a duel lol.

Yesss, the Starks are back at Winterfell. 🏰🐺 RIP to Rickon (zigzag!) and the giant. So glad that Sansa got her get back. Excited for 6x10 next!!! And I still have some fav moments or episodes in the last 2 seasons. Just overall love these two episodes and this season sooo much! 💖 Great points about how the stories mirror each other with different characters in some episodes like with the battles in this one!

Such a great reaction! Can’t wait for the next one. That was an Umber that Tormund killed and John fought with not a Karstark. The shield John used to deflect Ramsay’s arrows was a Mormont shield. One of the 62 Mormont men made it all the way to Winterfell. I love Sansa’s line. “No one can protect me. No one can protect anyone. “. “ No one” has become a popular term in this show.

Imagine the iron islands back a woman for the very first time and that woman turns around and says "I know we can't grow crops or raise animals on our land and that raving ls our way of life and important to our very survival but im going to ban it going forward sorry yall" her entire army would immediately side with Uron come on. DnD are such bad writers it hurts

This is my absolute favorite episode. There are a couple of others that come close for me, including the next episode, but this is my #1. I just can't put anything above Ramsey getting what was coming to him. It has been a long time coming. I actually think they should've tortured him for a while before ending him but either way.... he got his. This episode put Dany and Jon out front and it changes the course of the entire show. The battle scene with the continuous shot was so epic. Great reaction guys! I can't wait to keep going with you....i think you're gonna love it. Thank you!

I think you did not appreciate the context of the exchange. Yara needs help, badly, she's got her crazy uncle out for her. You say and do whatever it takes to get in Dany's good graces, the future ramifications don't really matter in that moment.

Well yeah bro I kinda got that she's desperate that parts made obvious to the audience and it changes nothing about what i just said. Her people chose their leader and im saying they aren't going to choose her once they know she gave up their entire way of life for personal reasons. Her uncle coming to kill her is not an iron islands problem it's a Yara problem. Also dude you can't just make up your own head cannon and present it like I was just missing context lmao you have no proof Yara was lieing and intended to "cross that bridge when she gets there" you just made that up to explain what is really just a plot hole dude. Even if we pretended youre right then that would be a rag on Yara for making such a stupid decision. It's simply bad writing + the time constraints of limited episodes left.

Yaras crew is just as evil as Eurons men. They are loyal to her because her whole life she has been taking, murdering, raving alongside these men. These men know this 1 way of life and they follow Yara because she's dang good at this 1 way of life. We can't expect these men to not immediatly side with Euron when she makes this decision

NGL I was a little worried by all the talking over the show at the beginning that you’d miss something, but I think you got it. Battle of the Bastards is what I truly consider “the beginning of the end” with that huge battlefield sequence, the joining of Theon/Yara/Danerys/Tyrion… things are really being put in motion. Great reaction and I love you guys! So much fun! Ready for episode 10?

Ramsey is worse than Joffrey because Ramsey isn't stupid like Joffrey nor is he a whiney baby. He's strategic and knows the art of war where Joffrey didn't have a strategic bone in his body. However, neither of them are as bad as Dahmer cause they are both just characters not a real life psycho like Dahmer.
