Comments

Jason Rogue

We've been waiting for this one

Christian

Damn nice surprise. This show is really good. Guess you gotta check out punisher as well then, they connect.

Jack Ross

Yesss been waiting for this!! Y'all the best 🔥

Monkey D. Tomy

Dont watch netflix marvel series before mcu. Its not that important. Great shows tho 👌 but Please watch the real mcu first. So we dont have to wait months for the real deal. I can put the real mcu list for you if you want? Netflix shows are not part of it.

Ony Ibe

Great you guys are watching this! 2 things going forward:

Ony Ibe

1. "The Incident" the real estate agent was refferring to was the battle of new york from avengers 1

Ony Ibe

2. Daredevil is the first show in the mini series the defenders, because everything ties together. The shows are (DAREDEVIL, JESSICA JONES, LUKE CAGE, IRON FIST, DEFENDERS). Hope that helps!

Jonny

Wow you listened to the Patreon. Thanks guys

Jonny

I doubt much will be affected man. Remember GOT is almost close to completion. That will free up space for more content. Daredevil is what many of us Patreon want to see. So MCU will still have its day

Monkey D. Tomy

True. Also dont get me wrong.. Daredevil is great 👌 but i just want to see their reactions to next mcu projects.. Not hawkeye that much 😅 but spider man no way home 👌 i just wanna see their minds blown by that 😂

Jonny

Oh for sure looking forward to that Spiderman reaction. Lmao. That is gna be awesome

Aldo Gonzales

I believe this was one of the first shows on Netflix to provide audio descriptions. Jedediah Barton provides his voice for the narration. He would also do the same not just with all of Marvel Netflix but also with some of the recent Marvel Studios shows as well as a few of the X-Men films. Ever since, other streaming services gradually started doing the same.

Duron Ball

Every episode get better and better .... All of your questions will be explained in excellent detail.... You just have to pay attention to the details.... Also, when they are looking over the office to start their law practice, the realtor refers to "The Incident", what they're talking about is the invasion from The Avengers.

Boerben

OK now you surprise me kind of. DId not expect you to watch the "secondary canon" stuff. Its definitely one of the most serious MCU Shows you will see. You should release more than one episode in one video.

RegTravels

The episodes get better and better! The second one is my favorite!!!

Alex Gonzalez

Yea but now that they’re watching Daredevil, projects like Hawkeye and No Way Home will hit better. If ya know, ya know. Wink Wink

DarrellWaller

I highly recommend you watch the first 4 or 5 episodes before moving on.. Tht will give you enough context for hawkeye and Spider Man: No Way Home.

DarrellWaller

A few eastr eggs for ya: The gray haired crime boss (Leland) is Leland Owlsley. Aka: The Owl. In the comics he is a very lame villian who wears like a opera cape and glides and was one of DD's villians in the early days. I like the more serious grounded approach to him in this series. I think in the next episode you see his dad going into a match with "Crusher" Creel. This guys becomes the Absorbing Man in the comics. This whole Nexflix universe was deemed cannon by Marvel Studios and going forward, you will see these actors return in their roles in the MCU. A Daredevil Disney + series is being filmed right now with all the character returnin. I think you meet the big bad in EP 3. I think you will like him. He is like a street level Loki and is very popular. Oh yeah, he will eventually get the iconic red devil uniform before the end of the series!

Monkey D. Tomy

Yeah but its not that big deal afterall 😅

Reaction Junkie

@DarrellWaller While I'm not a fan of this Daredevil show I would still appreciate if you could not BLATENTLY set out spoilers in your comments. Anything that starts with the phrase " I think in the next episode you see...." or " I think you meet... in ep 3" is a spoiler. I understand you are probably excited for the start of this series and ill admit these are small spoilers, but the fact remains, ALL reaction channels consider that spoilers are completely unacceptable in any form as people are spending their hard earned cash on genuine first time reactions. Please be more aware of spoilers in your comments in the future.

reijav

I def skipped the Netflix Marvel shows... I guess they're tying into the Disney MCU now though.. it's just so much to keep up with! I'll be watching with you guys... :)

o.o

I want y'all to get through season 2. The Daredevil and frank castle together are peak entertainment.

Peter K

I agree with RJ...too much Darrell...

Peter K

Thank you for doing DD! Welcome to the dark side of the MCU, and with all the references to the 'incident,' it is clear that these shows were always meant to be a part of the MCU. Great reaction, looking forward to more...

Lifehouse

Incase you didn't make the connection... The assault/destruction in New York they are referring to in this episode is about what happened in The Avengers (2012).

Brian - VampyreKing - Cacini

All of the DC series are awesome! Luke Cage and The Punisher and Daredevil are the top 3 but they're all good!

DarrellWaller

In my defense, there is NO WAY they will know who Crusher Creel is (even AFTter the episode he doesn't show up in any movie) and I did not mention the name of the big bad. I dont know how they could be considered spoilers. I'm only pointing out comic references in the show. Relax, guys.

DarrellWaller

DC? uhmmmm.....no. LOL Do you mean DD?

Brian - VampyreKing - Cacini

Yeah, thanks for the correction. I don't know what I was thinking. I'm on pain meds right now so I'll blame those! LOL. Thanks again!

Christian

tbh they are way better than the disney stuff, they're way more serious

Tayshawn Williams

Just gonna let you know off the rip. This may be marvels BEST MCU SHOW EVERRRRRRRRR.‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️ . Charlie Cox as daredevil is literally perfect casting as Hugh is to Wolverine & Ryan Reynolds is to Deadpool.

Chase Schleich

1 episode at a time? Should probably do 2 or it's going to take a year to get through these shows.

Becky White

I consider Agents of Shield the best Marvel show. Daredevil is a close second.

Thadman

Mr. October, you said they didn't really explain the car accident that blinded him, but they did at the beginning, but right when the one guy was telling others that the kid pushed him outta the way of the car and saved his life, Mr. October was looking away and doing something out of camera site and Mrs. October was paying attention to what you were doing/saying so you missed that one quick explainer that Matt pushed an older guy outta the way of the runaway car. They didn't verbally say everything, but watching it again, you see all the visuals of what happened. Old guy at the wheel of the crashed car getting helped out by others, maybe just old or maybe intoxicated. He'd hit the truck carrying hazardous waste and Matty saved someone from being hit but got some of that waste splashed in his face from one of the barrels that fell off. Not much more complicated than that. So, you got the main gist. I figured you guys would like this show. It's a good show that shows off one of Marvel's most popular street-level heroes. And you were right about the "DD" nickname. Some have called him that in the comics, mainly 'cause his costume in the comics has DD on its chest.

Gamer2bxw

Yes. Also the chemicals in those barrels that blinded him also hightened his other senses. Theyre the same chemicals that went into the sewers and created the Ninja Turtles if im not mistaken.

Gamer2bxw

Maybe not all of them but they shd DEFINATELY watch Daredevil all 3 seasons. It connects into Hawkeye and Echo plus the new DD Born again series airing next year, plus its now MCU cannon.

Tayshawn Williams

That’s actually a good choice 😂. I’ll respect that .

EnVy316LeGeNd

man 9 years since this came out... damn i'm old

Hitmon

To be honest I didn't really get into Daredevil when I first watching but watching this first episode with you guys has peaked my interest!

reactive1

The damage to NYC they are referring to is from the battle with the Chitauri in the first Avengers movie.

Jason Augustine

This series is incredible. Watch season 1 and 2. Then you need to watch The defenders to understand season 3. The Punisher season 1 and 2 are just as good. It all comes together in Born Again season 1 which just finished.

Jason Augustine

As a father watching him say he can't see is heartbreaking. Of all the things that go wrong with relationships in life, if your kids are healthy you are a rich person.

Jason Augustine

It is crazy because what blinded him gave him the enhanced senses which include a type of radar. The fighting will be explained later.
