This is considered the best show from the Defenders Saga, and it never drops quality. Every season just gets better and better. If you want to continue to season 2 you can, or like the MCU the Defenders Saga has a certain order, so next should be Jessica Jones S1. Up to you, personally not a lot watch JJ as they stick with Daredevil, but JJ is super underrated.

I'd recommend they watch it all. They've already shown that their opinions don't necessarily line up with the rest of the fandom on other movies/shows. Jessica Jones and Luke Cage were fantastic, imo.

Definitely. Really wanting to get into the Punisher storyline. Plus they need to get through it all before Daredevil: Born Again comes out since it's now canon to the Netflix shows.

Could we take a vote on if you continue Dardevil and Defenders Saga vs a different show? While I admit there is a very vocal group who advocate for this show I don't think it would win a poll over something else. I could be wrong and I'd be happy to eat my words if a poll says otherwise but yea, I would love to see a poll for if you continue or not. Sorry if I offended someone with this.

Jessica Jones Season 1!

THIS show is everything the Shang-chi movie SHOULD have been. It would be more true to the comics than the stupid dragons and fantasy world and goofy characters that we got in that piece of shit. Anyway, Now you see why DD is such a beloved character and you will see him soon in another series. Marvel just announced Daredevil : Born Again, and the cast will return to continue the journey, only this time under the official Marvel title. Now S2 isn't as good, but introduces 2 very important characters moving forward. I also highly suggest Jessica Jones S1. (and please watch Daredevil (2003) for reasons you can't see now).

Before watching daredevil s2 watch Jessica jones s1 because daredevil is a part of its own mini universe called the defenders saga with a couple of other shows

You guys definitely should continue the defenders verse as it would help with the contrasting tone from the mcu stuff you are about to start watching. Also add BLADE to the movies lists if you can its a must watch origins movie from old school marvel.

Mrs. O is right when it comes to DDs fighting style. It did show is evolution. in the comics, Daredevil is one of the most agile characters (he keeps up with Spider-Man and they're good friends), so the show had him build more to that level/style.

Shang chi is goated and season 2 of daredevil is better than season 1 just from the suit and everything up to the prison sequence don't @ me. The second half of season 2 is definitely a bit of a downgrade but still clears season 1 imo. Also has the best of the hallway fights.

Just heard that new Daredevil is arriving in March 2025, and will follow story line post season 3. That kind of means you two have to watch all the shows, because season 3 of DD follows the events of the Defenders only season, and that builds upon most of the Netflix Marvel shows....good news, plenty of time to do it if you are up for it.

There's multiple ways to film a show/movie. This show uses what's called a handheld camera style. It's literally a camera person holding the camera rather than it being on a wire, or a robot arm, or a tripod, ect... Handheld style is meant to give a show or movie a more down to Earth, rugged feel. It works very well for this show.

They don’t really have too. It is a lot of content to do! I think daredevil and punisher is really it and defenders before season 3 if that at all.

They're doing multiple different shows. Daredevil, The Boys, Ms. Marvel, Stranger Things. If you don't like one, there's multiple others you may like. The fact that they do so many different shows at once is a reason I like this channel. The other channels I sub to do one show and if you don't like it, you're S.O.L for 3 months until they switch to something else.

This show gets better and better with Season 2 introducing 2 iconic characters. Then Defenders which is one season, and the storyline continues into Season 3 DD (which is the BEST Season).

Also fun fact, Charlie Cox (Matt Murdock) is British, he just pulls a badass accent as Matt. If you see Charlie like in interviews, 2 completely different people.

Just to clarify, Foggy, Karen, Ben, Vanessa, and Kingpin were all straight from the Marvel DD comics, in case you were wondering. Vanessa was also a big part of Into The Spiderverse, she was always KP's main squeeze. As for the running flips, they were a staple of the comics, he was very acrobatic on the pages and they really did not emphasize it until that single chase scene. It would have looked better in the red suit, not the jacket and tie.

Daredevil does think of Hells kitchen as his playground and 'court'yard. Next up is Jessica Jones, which is awesome! Karen really is struggling yeah, I mean she's funny and nozy for sure, but at the end of the day she's just a regular person that just killed a man. Also big probs to you Mrs. October! Great catch on the Stan Lee cameo! You are literally the first reactor i've seen that has noticed it while watching it. And don't worry about 'big characters leaving the show, like Ben' because it creates a void for a new character to step forward and take the spotlight.

As I remember it, there was no poll for Daredevil. So all I want is validation that the majority of people actually want them to watch it. Even Mr. O acknowledged that it isn't getting the views as their other shows. I am 100% fine with it if it wins but why can't it be voted on like every other piece of content on the channel?
