The original Pennywise was like a druncle who recently started dipping into Meth.. This Pennywise is creepy.

Jessica Houser

Hahaha....I can totally see that! Iykyk.

ive never seen tony jumpscare before, that was priceless lmaoo

Christian

Yeah I dont think this movie is that scary but it definitley has the creepy vibe you'd want from a movie like this. Out of the whole poll we voted in with all the horror movies the only one I think is truly scary is The Conjuring. You will certainly be scared watching that lol its 2 hours of stress

In the book, all the boys take turns having s.e.x. with Beverly, instead of the blood oath. They needed to do something that would connect themselves forever in order to beat Pennywise if he ever came back. Pretty f’ed up isn’t it 😂 Also this movie had more of the book in it. Bc it’s longer they were able to put more of that in it. The first movie was a made for TV movie so they had to cut a lot out.

Jessica Houser

Isn't that insane? Not many people I know knew that....not book readers I guess but anytime I say that people think I'm messing with them!

o.o

i agree, this is a better movie, but tim curry is a better pennywise

o.o

i did tell you there was a chapter 2 on the last video lol

Richie cracks me up. I really do enjoy the two modernized movies. They are making a show about the origins of Pennywise called Welcome To Derry, should be on Max next year.

I know right !! I’m surprised more people don’t know that bc it’s so bizarre !! Especially since it’s kids ! Stephen king 🤦🏼‍♀️ he’s nuts ! But I love his stuff !

Jessica Houser

Me too. I tend to gravitate to the crazy, brutal, and scary stuff for some reason. Most of his movies I can handle but Doctor Sleep was hard for me. Idk what it is about it....it just really bothered me.

The boy that plays Ben, Jeremy Ray Taylor, is from my hometown. His parents own a farm here. When this came out, on opening weekend, he went to our local movie theater and met people, took photos, and signed autographs. He was such a sweet kid! Hes 21 now and just got married this year! Time flies, I guess. He is also in Goosebumps 2:Haunted Halloween (My daughter watches it all the time!) and some of the Alvin and the Chipmunks movies.

I haven’t seen Dr Sleep yet. I want to but just never sat down to watch it. It’s on my list though. For some reason I haven’t wanted to watch it and I don’t know why. The shining is one of my first memories as a child, my maw maw made me watch it one night, while we were staying at a motel!! 😂 I absolutely loved it ! So I think maybe I’m worried it’ll ruin the movie for me. I don’t know. But I need to !

ShittyShittyGameGang

This movie came out 27 years after the TV adaptation. There's stuff going on in the background through this whole movie. Like the lady in the library looking scary behind Ben. And the clown in the background at the park is also played by Bill Skarsgard

ShittyShittyGameGang

He does kill other than children, he just prefers to kill kids because they taste better because it's easier to make them scared. It's okay to like one over the other, I love both but they're very different vibes for sure.
