Harvey

Imo because these are all long series’ except Haunting of Hill house, you should do the winner along with that as it’s only short. Then decide whether you guys want to continue with the other series’ from Mike Flanagan.

TheOctobers

we don't have much Mike Flanagan knowledge but truly willing to know more!

Harvey

His movies are; oculus Gerald’s game Before I wake Doctor sleep - The shining sequel Hush All horrors and all pretty good but he really shines in his tv work

Angelique

TWD would be awesome, but it's a long road ;-) THOHH and Vikings are close seconds ^^

JJ Carlisle

Voted HoHH so you can knock it out before the long road of WD

Tayshawn Williams

I vote walking dead because I just started on it after years of my oldest brother telling me to watch it.😭 And what better way to watch it then with y’all.😂I’m 3 seasons in. I think y’all are gonna like it.

sOMbr

Voted Vikings, but TWD will suffice.

Danna

Yes, I agree. Love both but Haunting of Hill House could be watched in no time.

Gypsysoul

Im 100% TWD, but maybe do both if you can.. :)

Fervent Fox

Have only seen TWD, so that'd have to be my vote.

TheOctobers

thanks for the insight on him! we def need to check him out especially if we like hill house

Sarah Rosa

Never seen any of these😩

mike

Haunting of Hill House is fantastic, excellent writing, acting, and storytelling

mike

Haunting of Bly Manor. Midnight Mass are 2 others that I truly enjoyed… as well as the Fall of The House of Usher!!!!

Olive_Sandy

I think doing the winner alongside THOHH as its only 10 episodes and you will fly through them especially if you do 2 at a time as they are only an hour tops. My vote did go to TWD but Hill House is a masterpiece

JG

I voted Vikings, but I really hope this won’t turn into a perpetual TWD reaction channel. Too many seasons and spinoffs, that quite frankly, get worse as the show progress. Just know that it will be a huge undertaking to cover all TWD related content when the latter half the show is just not worth it imho.

J-rad

Still think you should put off Hill House till next October. TWD will take you that long to watch anyway.

Chris Neely

Hopefully Viking’s gets a watch

reijav

Do Hill House pleeeease 😩😩😩

Steven Jump

I stopped watching TWD a season or two after main actor left. Frankly, I'm worn out on end of the world stuff. Also if they never make another zombie series or movies I'd be a happy man. Zero interest in Vikings or Yellowstone.

JG

On another note, it's such a shame that Black Sails lost the earlier poll. Arguably one of the better shows on that list. Great writing, plot, characters, etc. Mrs. October would especially love it as a well-known character from the Assassins Creed universe (and in actual history) stars in it. Hope it gets chosen in the next TV poll, but I won't hold my breath on that one :(

Jessica Houser

You can't beat Mike Flanagan with horror right now. I've watched his shows repeatedly and they're still top notch. I suggest, if you can, if Walking Dead wins, watch Hill House at the same time, when it's done it will be about time for Squid Games Season 2 and so on. That will help rotate several shorter shows for those people who wanted them while still doing Walking Dead.

TheOctobers

it sounds good tho! especially if you're comparing it to AC!

Cory Cowan

Watch Mr Robot and Dexter. Shorter TWD will take at least 4-6 months to finish. Worth it but you gotta lock in.

DebonairDunn

You kinda spoiling TWD for them

Alli

If these are the clear top 2, I would say hit haunting of hill house since it's like a 1 season show (maybe haunting of.hill house 2 or something is a thing so 2 season i think?) Then maybe walking dead after?

DebonairDunn

Yo I finished the whole show and I gotta tell you, season 4 or 5 will probably be your favorite season.

Nasia

Haunting of hill house first. I love TWD but it’s gonna take forever to finish

Trevor Evans

Definitely agree on dexter. I haven't seen Mr robot but I know Rami malik is a great actor.

Chase Schleich

Literally. Seeing as it's still going, they're 10+ years behind so they could watch it every week for the next decade and still be years behind. That's why I didn't think it should be on the poll. Not to mention the quality drop off after the first few seasons.

Robert Nelson

I always pick the one in last place. ** heavy sigh **

Brieanne

Mr. Robot is amazing. I would love if they watched that!

Steven Jump

What did I spoil? I didn't name the actor or the character they played or what season they left. Series often have more than 1 main actor or character. The rest was about the zombie genre as a whole and not any one series.

Miguel Lugo

The Walking Dead is like 18 seasons and only the first 3 are good. If they go with TWD were not gonna get a new show reaction for the next 5 years.

Rob Frawley 2nd

There is no second season of Haunting of Hill House. It is a single-season miniseries. :-)

Rob Frawley 2nd

If the top choices are The Walking Dead and The Haunting of Hill House, I highly suggest watching The Haunting of Hill House first, as it is a single-season miniseries of only ten episodes total. On the other hand, The Walking Dead has 177 episodes spanning 11 seasons.

Robert Nelson

Although, I would be happy with Vikings.

Cory Cowan

Maaannnn Mr Robot is incredible. Definitely an all time show.

Cory Cowan

They would love it!!!

SierraNicole

Since they’re close, maybe watch The Haunting of Hill House first. It’s only 10 episodes and TWD has almost 200!! I think it just makes sense given that TWD is just narrowly beating Hill House.

Chris torres

I feel like the walking dead is a must…at one point, Game of Thrones and The walking Dead were neck and neck for best TV series. Yellowstone would be such a great change of mood though, great series. Vikings would give that GoT feel and is a great show….

Alli

Oops, looks like the sequel is "Haunting of Bly Manor".

Reaction Junkie

Well even tho my pick is again in the second place spot I just wanna say a big thanks to The Ocobers for even putting out this poll. Truly master diplomats haha. But I do gotta voice my wish that you do Haunting of Hill House too. Totally understand if it's too much on your plate but it is truly such an amazing show with a passionate fanbase. Plus it introduces you to the Flanaverse.

KP

Hill house is better and shorter and it will give you waaaay more new followers. The walking dead is less relevant today.

ShittyShittyGameGang

I see lots of people going the route of telling you that "only these seasons are good" for The Walking Dead, which I very much disagree with. I watched it all the way through and was a superfan the whole way (I even won a ticket to the huge live premiere event they had for one of the later seasons and missed the email so sadly didn't get to go 😭) . Anyhow I just wanted to say yall can form your own opinion about it, don't let people sway you either way, like they try to with GOT. I love both shows though that are winning, it really just depends on if you're looking for a long haul show, or short and sweet.

ShittyShittyGameGang

The main show isn't still going. And they don't have to continue on to the spinoffs if they don't want to.

Daniel

Nobody cares about The Walking Dead 2024. We are still in a "zombie fatigue"! The first seasons were great but then it almost became unwatchable. Please stay away from The Walking Dead - it's to much episodes. I'm getting tired just to think about it.

Daniel

Hill House is a great mini-series! The Mix of sad drama and horror is just so mmm fantastic!

Peter K

Still no show over 50%, and if it is only for Patreon, they would do a show that less than half the community wants. I mean, I'll be in for the first few seasons, but I won't watch beyond where I stopped last time. Honestly this is a conundrum I would hate to decide, but I am sure the O's will do what they think is best.

Gypsysoul

Holy Wow. Alot of Walking Dead haters. Leave TWD alone. It's top tier.

Keith Waterman

Id recommend watching Hill House before TWD. Both amazing shows but Hill House is much shorter and has such a new style twist on the horror/drama genre that I found really refreshing!!

Christian

average network television at best but to each their own

hashpipe

Hands down one of the most overrated television shows Ive ever invested time in, glad you liked it though. That being said, I don't think its a really good "reaction" show for this channel.. 177 episodes is absurd. Game of thrones took months and it was only 73 episodes lmao

hashpipe

you think 131 hour playtime of the walking dead is a viewing "must" ???

Jean Choi

Haunting of Hill House is SO GOOD and only 1 season, so I think it could be knocked out pretty easily, whereas The Walking Dead is a multi-season commitment that is pretty strong for the first 7 seasons and then I fell off it. Which is crazy for me, since I work in movies and tv, so I tend to finish shows because of professional obligations of various kinds. I recommend: watch Hill House first as an appetizer and then you can tuck into TWD for a long haul, if that’s what ends up winning. Or you could do both simultaneously.

Reaction Junkie

I think the problem is that this series is gonna be a Patreon exclusive. But if less then 50% of Patrons want to watch it then we have a problem. I totally get that there are people who enjoy the entirety of the series but not enough to warrant 11 years worth of content.

ShittyShittyGameGang

The poll results don't necessarily mean that less than 50% wanna watch it at all, just that some people voted to watch something else first.

james moore

The walking dead is amazing. I dont know where these haters came from lol

Mack

All good choices I'm about to start watching Yellowstone I been putting it off for to long. Vikings is good a lot of good characters in the show.

Wesley Ledford

Really hope they do the walking dead I know it's long but it's great and maybe supernatural eventually
