hope your feeling better Mrs. O, the reveal of the red room, and whole final episode felt like I was holding breath. loved it, will you be doing the haunting of bly manor too? i read its a '2nd' season but with new story and different characters (but have few of the same actors but in different roles) looks interesting but will wait to watch with you guys if you will eventually be doing it.

I was right there with Mrs O with the finale of this series - I was a wreck! Glad you’re feeling better, and congrats to your family. Wishing you both all the best!

You cannot go wrong with any Flanagan's show they are all great. I really hope we continue with Flanagan's shows and watch Bly Manor, Midnight Mass(my favorite) Falling of the Usher House. 🙏🏻❤️

Oh my, every time I rewatch this show it makes me cry. And every time I watch I catch new things! So, the thing about this story is we don’t know if Liv is mentally ill, or is it the mild, is it the house, is it Poppy?! I know Poppy is crazy but she herself said that the red room was a nursery and closet for her and she mentioned how her children were suffering before they died. Was she lying? Was she preying on Liv? Did she herself just go insane without the help of the house and kill her kids? Ahh so good! Also someone mentioned how the Dudley’s were so religious and believed in heaven but chose to give it up to be with their babies 😭. Also fun fact, the ending scene was originally going to pan out to the red room window to show they were still stuck in there but Mike thought it was too sad lol. Oh and at the end there Luke is celebrating his 2 years and there’s 7 people with him..his comfort number ♥️

Midnight Mass Next!!!

Claudia

I read somewhere the Flanagan wanted to make hints that the ending scene with all the siblings celebrating with Luke was actually in the red room but he decided not to piss people off lol

When Liv said "Go on without me" and Hugh responded with "How could we?" Ugh....my heart just shattered! Such an emotional journey! Absolutely do more from Mike Flanagan....Doctor Sleep, as I said before, is the first horror movie to make me cry in actual pain. There's one scene that just murdered my heart and that's odd for me? Not sure why it did that...but definitely watch it! Also his other Netflix shows are amazing as well. He has never disappointed. Mr. O...you hold it together pretty well but I saw the emotion coming through....it's ok! Let's all feel this shit together! Mrs. O I know I always have you to cry with so I'm here for it! Glad you're feeling better...fingers crossed it stays that way! Love yall! ❤️See you on the next one!

Glad to hear you're feeling a bit better, can't wait to watch more Mike Flanagan with yall. So I believe the woman who walked up to get Abigail's ghost was her grandmother, Mr. Dudley's mother. If I could pick which you do next I'd say Fall of the House of Usher but I will watch whatever you guys go for. He did Doctor Sleep like you said but some other movies you might not have down yet are Hush, Quiji 2, Oculus & Gerald's Game.

Also thank you for sticking with this series even though your numbers haven't been the best (not sure why they haven't either, I thought this show usually does well).

The next one is Bly Manor, then Midnight Mass (my favorite), next is The Midnight Club and then The Fall Of The House Of Usher.

I’m dying I use to work at a dollar tree and I would always have to reset my whole system daily it was wild. Mr. Os impersonation was spot on 😂😂

Yooo! I’m juuuust “a bit” older than the two of you and I remember right after stores started using the keypad where you swipe your own card, being in Target, handing my card to the cashier and being told “oh, you just swipe it here.” and my reaction was literally “What? I don’t work here.” LOL We’ve come a long way since those days, but in sit down restaurants I still think we’re paying for an experience so there should be real menus and the server should take the card, etc… especially if it’s a nice place! Anyywayyyy, I’d forgotten how much I love this show and how emotional that ending is. Thank you for reacting to it and being open to it. Knowing now how much you liked this I highly recommend Six Feet Under from HBO (it’s on Netflix too I think). 5 season, 63 episodes. It’s surprisingly hilarious but also very heartfelt, heartwarming, edgy, and in my opinion the VERY best series finale of all time. It gets lost in all of HBOs flagship shows like GOT, The Sopranos, Sex and the City, but Six Feet Under boasted great ratings and won numerous awards. It’s the story of a family with three grown children running a funeral home, Fisher and Son’s. It doesn’t sound like it would be funny, but you’ll be surprised.

This show makes me ugly cry every damn time. Hill House is my emotional favorite, and I think it's beautifully told, but Midnight Mass is right up there and might actually be the best of the shows he did on Netflix. It's definitely the one that surprised me the most with how much I ended up liking it.

Watch Midnight Mass. It’s sooo good!!!!

I’m so late to this party but I hope they could work this in this fall!
