We hired a new team member to make thumbnails. I have always loved making them but this guy is very talented in my opinion. We wanna know what you guys think.

Oooo I like! They look great!

chris z

the images dont match. the 1st image features a character in season 9 i think.

SavageDiplomat

Honestly this person isnt doing a good job. There is no reason why a season 1 thumbnail should have character from a season way in the future in it. It spoils it not just for you guys but also for any people watching with you for the first time. Thumbnails should only be relevant to that particular episode.

Jim Schmitz

The image of Brooke on the right is intriguing. If you hired the person, you should let them do the job.

Josh Viz

Guys the one on the left has a character from season like 6 lol right side all the way!!!

Jessica Houser

I have to agree with Chris, I'm not familiar with the character on the first one. I stopped watching sometime in Season 8 or 9. With that being said, if the characters match the episode or Season, the layout is great. Props to whoever made these for their hardwork. Great job.

TheOctobers

OK guys, I am going to get him to take out the character and replace it with a relevant one. I am not sure who that character is. I thought it was a random zombie that I didn’t notice but other than that do you think he did a good job making it presentable because it’s a lot more than I am capable of doing.

chris z

all good, btw your thumbnails were fine. upto you if you wanna change it up tho, just gotta be careful it fits the episode etc. keep it fun for you guys, the people will be fine lol.

Jessica Houser

Yes. Minus that character they did a great job. The layout works well. Even on the second one, it's relevant because those were the episodes Amy passed on. I think they look amazing and kudos to whoever did these.

SavageDiplomat

Honestly i think its ok but i dont think you guys really need an editor for Thumbnails. You were doing just fine before and your channel is constantly growing. Its not the Thumbnails that attract people its the content. People signed up because they were searching for reactions to a specific movie or show and they stayed around because they enjoy your reactions.

ShittyShittyGameGang

Other than the way into the future character they look pretty good. If you think you should hire someone to do it that's kool, but yalls are good too.

LLCoolT

I fit watch this show to know about the characters, but I love the layout and look of the samples he made 👍🏻

Danimarie + Daniel

Honestly, yours are better. No hate to the editor but we enjoy yours more☺️

Jim Schmitz

If it frees you up for other concerns, go for it/ he does good work.

VeNinjaK

They are good but the characters they are using are from way later seasons and not at all relevant. It's very misleading to TWD fans.

Lifehouse

Gotta go with relevant characters or events in the thumbnails though. The one in the first thumbnail is from a later season. But overall the thumbnails have a clean look. if you wanna give it a revamp this is definitely a nice one. There's two sides to this coin though.. you need to shoot a bunch more pics with the :-} :-o :-O faces haha.

Despero Riggity

Just make sure they don’t use those dumb shocked look on face for thumbnails. Like the over dramatized faces for thumbnails. Only dog sh*t channels do that crap

Josh Viz

It's proven that thumbnails attract folk and affect viewership. Im not trying make you sound bad bro its just like an actual proven fact! A good channel should totally focus on thumbnails.

Josh Viz

I like the faces more in the first one. Just my opinion tho I wish I had better feedback for yall. Definitely keep showing us previews because we can catch stuff for yall like how we noticed that wrong character on the first image!

Josh Viz

Lol it bothers me too but 1. This channel has done that so let's not be rude 2. It's proven that those thumbnails attract viewers I know it's dumb but it's real. My first October video ever had a thumbnail just like that haha

hashpipe

some of the biggest and best channels on youtube use clickbait pictures who you kidding lmao. And just for the record, you just called out this channel because they also do it too.

hashpipe

yours are better in my personal opinion, I feel like this is a downgrade from what you already do. Just my two cents

hashpipe

Its very clearly an example of what he can do and not an actual thumb nail.

Amber 💙

Definitely a turn off for me too. It depends on the content and how much I wanna see the reaction to that specific thing.

Becca

Beware- the walking dead one has a spoiler in the images they chose.

Boerben

Is this a real image of Rick? Especially the left one looks so different almost A.I.ish :D But looks fine all in all

TokyoLopez

I am ok with whatever gets selected.

Mikala B

I’m also of the opinion that yours are better. I prefer yours.

J-rad

Right side, imo

Huckfinn

Hmmm just me or does the image of the one for episode 1x3 1x4 have a huge spoiler image of a character from much later season? Or maybe I haven't watch those early seasons enough to remember.

Jolenny M

That is in fact a massive spoiler on that left thumbnail 🤣

AuntVes

My old lady advice is to only use images from the episode you're reacting to (including images of yourself reacting to that specific episode) in thumbnails. Stock images or y'all pantomiming certain emotions or images from older or future episodes always opens up the possibility of creating confusion (even rage)... and, frankly, it's such a factory way to approach something that should be artistic and personal. But I've always had such criticisms of how young YouTubers use certain copycat ways to promote their stuff. Doing in a more honest way can end up easier and more effective.

Gypsysoul

😵 a hard no on future images from me! 🙌 Other than that, the visuals are sharp.👍
