James Nyman

This is my favorite movie of all time, it’s such an accurate depiction of trauma and abuse.

Christian

Same it's just one of those true life movies everybody can find a way to relate to. Of all his movies this is the Robin Williams performance I remember him by

Reaction Junkie

I was looking forward to this as soon as I saw it on the upcoming list. LFG! <3 The October's reactions and the pre reaction chats. Okay time to watch and cry a little haha

This movie was Damon and Affleck's first film, they wrote the script and starred in it. It definitely made both hot commodities. You should do Damon's Bourne movies for Mrs. O, really fun action flicks. There is one Affleck movie that stands out for me, and it has a sequel coming. That would be the Accountant, which is nothing like its title suggests, it is something strange and fascinating. Robin Williams was a great comedian and maybe a better actor, RIP. Two of his movies that I love are Bicentennial Man and The World According to Garp, both weird and wonderful films.

Thank you for sharing a little of your story!

Robin Williams is in Insomnia...so hopefully that's coming up soon :) Awesome reaction, Ben and Matt won the Oscar for Best Original Screenplay for this movie that year. Casey Affleck who played Morgan in the movie is Ben Affleck's brother. He's in a bunch of other movies too like Manchester by the Sea, which is a great movie, but so so very sad. Also, just want to say thanks for sharing your personal stories, glad you got so much from the movie.

Brieanne

I agree, the Accountant is good...and Jon Berenthal (Shane from The Walking Dead) is also in it. I would also suggest watching Gone Girl with Ben Affleck in it if The O's haven't seen it. It's a trip of a movie and he's great in it.

AuntVes

I love this one soooooooooooooooooo much! I'm glad I saw it on the big screen with friends in my New Orleans days. 🍎 Thanks to Brooke and Tony.

This definitely one of my favorite movies of all time. So glad you both liked it. You guys are great folks and it's clear that you care about people, your family and each other. It's one of the reasons I love your reactions. Thanks for sharing!

Really touching to hear your story good sir. I’m glad you got something out of that movie. I’ve seen it so many times now it’s a part of me. Makes me tear up every time. Anyway back to you mate. Thanks for sharing and you seem to be a wonderful well adjusted person now with an amazing wife. That’s an encouraging story in itself. God bless and look forward to more of your reactions guys!

Christian

You know its a great story when you finish it and immediately start reflecting on your life lol, easily my favorite movie of all time. Matt and Ben are incredible together. My next 2 favorite Matt Damon movies are The Martian and Ford vs Ferrari, you'd both love those for sure.

EnVy316LeGeNd

its hard to pick a favorite Robin Williams movie but for serious and a love/family story is "What Dreams May Come"

J-rad

I’m glad you enjoyed this so much, and you don’t have to apologize for being emotional! More stuff like this on the channel would be excellent!

Jim Schmitz

What more can I add to the above? I love everything everyone else said about this. I did get moist each time either of you were resonating with part of the story. Tony, you've come a long way, baby doing this. Recommending another Robin Williams film is hard, there are so many good ones. Didn't see it earlier here, so "Hook". For Matt Damon, "The Departed", for Ben Affleck, "Gone Girl".

Michael from Seattle

thank you for sharing with us - this is why we love following you guys. Did you all watch Dead Poet's Society? Robin Williams gave an acting masterclass in that one ...

Billy Shields

We gotta get them to watch that one. One of my favorite movies

Michael Shelton

That's another one of my all time favorite movies right there.

Michael Shelton

Bicentennial man is such an awesome movie, and I almost always forget that it exists because you never see it anywhere.

Michael Shelton

If you want to see one of the best ben affleck movies, in my opinion, watch The Accountant. Like others have said, it's not what it sounds like and his portrayal and mannerisms, are amazing. Not only that, the movie it's just such a cool concept.

Michael Shelton

Thank you for sharing a little bit of your life with us and no apologies alowed for being human and showing it. When it comes to things like this especially, it's welcomed. Just like Will inspired Sean to get back out there, you sharing and letting us in could maybe do the same for one of us. So thank you❤️

Nat B

Thank you for sharing after the movie! Never apologize for showing your emotions. That is kind of the point of the movie. We can't connect if we're too afraid to show ourselves, and we can't ever grow as people if we don't connect. It's a lifelong process that everyone relearns over and over. This and Dogma are my two favorite Affleck/Damon movies, though they are wildly different movies lol. It would be cool to see y'all do a dive into other Robin Williams movies. What Dreams May Come, Dead Poet's Society, and Good Morning, Vietnam are my favorites of his.

Harvey

Finally getting round to actually watching this with you guys and Casey Affleck is Bens brother (arguably more talented then him) he’s the lead in “Manchester by the sea” which is an outstanding film And “the assassination of Jesse James by the coward Robert Ford” Which is one of the most well made westerns of the 21st century

Betwixt Tales

Movies with Matt Damon in the leading role that are a must watch, imo: The Bourne trilogy (absolute favorites!) - perhaps also Jason Bourne from '16. The Rainmaker The Martian (based on one of my favorite books.)

Betwixt Tales

At first I thought, isn't that a Matt Damon movie? But looking it up, I realize I was thinking of 'The Informant!' - which is another good one of his.

Aww...nothing but love for you Mr. O. I can relate. Mrs. O....i know youve got a big heart full of feelings too!Childhood was a rough place for me as well. (All I'll say is our favorite game as a kid was to pretend we were drug dealers) My husbandis like you....he jokes about things that cause him pain too. His Dad was an abusive alcoholic. He uses humor for a defense mechanism for everything. I will say that it has made us both extremely cautious to who we trust....but once we do we're loyal to a fault. Never stop sharing and feeling...it connects us and we all love ya'll no matter what!

I can recommend Armageddon (1998) and Argo (2012) with Ben Affleck. Those are top notch.
