This is legit my favourite film of all time. Just a shame I watched it under a week ago so gunna be a while till I watch it with you guys. CASINO (1995) is just as good as this, same director, same actors just a completely different mob story.

TheOctobers

we have decided we are game to watch more mob movies! this one was GREAT!

Harvey

Godfather trilogy Casino Scarface The untouchables A bronx Tale Donnie Brasco Mean streets The Irishman The departed Dog day afternoon And mickey blue eyes Are my favourites.

Harvey

Or American Gangster Pain in Full New Jack City Dolemite Boyz n the hood Menace 2 society Baby boy Ghost dog the way of the samurai If you want Black Mob movies

Brieanne

Severence!! I'm so excited :)

Please do the Godfather 1 and 2, they are both in the top ten of your 100 list. This is a very good mob movie, and Casino, I think is even better, but the Godfather movies have a very different feel. There is a reason they are both in the top ten. The Scorsese movies are more about the 'soldiers,' while the GF, as the title suggests, is about the ones at the top and how they manipulate it all.

Josh Viz

Caught this at almost 1 am but you bet imma put it on 😄

Harvey

100% agree about casino, I think by far it’s the most underrated Scorsese film, Joe Pescis 2nd best role De Niros most underrated role. One of the most misunderstood well written female characters And by far the best recreation of Las Vegas ever put on screen. Would be a travesty if it was missed

Hitmon

American gangster is sooo underrated

Ashlyn41

I recommend Gangs of New York and also The Gentlemen for mob movies. Also I still recommend The Usual Suspects and Lucky Number Slevin.

I agree with comments for The departed, American gangster and boyz in da hood. A Bronx tale is great too. I llove sopranos but I've never watched reactions to it or know if there's a market for it. I'd watch tho

Betwixt Tales

The Godfather movies are the OG when it comes to mobster movies. So they are a must watch! I also really love Donnie Brasco with Johnny Depp and Al Pacino, which is based on a true story like Goodfellas here is. Road to Perdition, with Tom Hanks, is another good one. These are movies that are more gangster than mob, but I highly recommend them stil: Snatch (a must watch favorite!) Pulp Fiction Scarface

Betwixt Tales

I would watch reactions to Sopranos, too. Especially the episode where they get stuck in the woods. It's my favorite episode. 😁

GOOSE

Gangs of New York is top tier !

AuntVes

This is one of my all-time favorites! 🚨

Indiana Jones?

I only saw this for the first time a few years ago when a local indie theater did a late night screening... It's quite good! Hot take: The Sopranos is overrated. Don't @ me lol And here's what I will say about movies (like Insomnia) that don't have many/any reactions: that doesn't mean people aren't looking for those reactions online, so it's your chace to be the trendsetters ;) ❤️ It sucks that YT messes with the algorithm.

Chase Schleich

If you liked Goodfellas, you'll like Casino. Another gangster movie with Robert De Niro and Joe Pesci (both from Goodfellas) directed by Martin Scorsese who also directed Goodfellas.

Chris

You should watch the new Shogun.

Jim Schmitz

Well bust my balls! This was an excellent film in every way. The actors for Karen and Spider were lead actors in "The Sopranos".

Also, thanks for the informative intro...

I know this was over a year ago but... Theres a line in the movie about how they were fixing college basketball games. Theres actually an ESPN 30 for 30 documentary called 'Playing For The Mob' thats about how Henry got involved in betting/fixing college games. The real Henry Hill is in it, filmed shortly before he died. And moderately fun facts: the actual prosecutor who handled this case IRL portrayed himself in the movie, the 'babe in the woods' line was real haha. And then Tommy's mother in the movie is actually Martin Scorsese' mother IRL. He 'snuck' her into a bunch of his movies.
