Comments

Johnny Soul

Judgement day gonna be 🔥

Jason Rogue

Hold on, what, you've never seen The Terminator? Oh, this I got to see.

Harvey

The 2nd is the best in the franchise by far And honestly one of the best films of all time. For reference this film picked up 0 Oscar nominations, the 2nd won 4

KenthalasAT

There's not really a bad Arnie movie if it was made before 2000 or so. Kindergarten Cop is definitely worth watching, as is Twins, Total Recall, and Predator. For sure.

Reaction Junkie

No way?! Terminator LFG!!! I just finished The Walking Dead so this couldn't have dropped at a better time lol.

AuntVes

Thanks to Tony and Brooke! 🦾

Johnny Soul

You guys have to check out True Lies and Predator

Christian

Ready for T2, true GOAT movie

JJ Carlisle

This was a childhood love of mine. My favorite is T2 but Predator, True Lies ,Total Recall, The Running man , and more are all cult classics

Whitney Hurley

Tha hair, tha hat, tha double specs and tha color.... fits.... matching 👀. <> Y'ALL on fire like ALWAYS! Oh, btw when I heard Tony say, "My grandma was a HOR **my heart stopped** ROR movie fan." This was a wonderful reaction just like every other one from you two kiddos. Ok, so we are ALL meetin back here for TERMINATOR 2: JUDGMENT DAY, right!?!? If you couldn't tell already.... "I'LL BE BACK😎✌️😲"

chris z

great great movie, Arnie is a legend. Predator next .

Chris

Let's see if you have the guts to watch beyond T2.

EnVy316LeGeNd

i just started watching severance and i just don't think its that big yet.

TC24

They better play the terminator theme at my funeral when they bring my casket into the church

Harvey

Y’all also need to watch the directors edition of Terminator 2. It’s James Cameron’s last terminator film and in the theatrical they cut his true ending

JJ Carlisle

Please watch T2 asap. I promise you will love it. Also I want to talk about the things you talked about at the end,but there is not really a way to do it without spoilers so you will just have to wait :)

Too Original

Can not wait till yall watch T2. Hands down one of the absolute best movies ever made. Theres a couple different editions of that one but all are amazing

Peter K

This was the first of James Cameron's movies to hit it big, (he made one movie before this that I try to forget). This was a really low budget movie (6.5M or about 16 today) and its amazing how good it looked, there was no CGI back then. Thanks to the success of this movie he got to make bigger budget movies, all of them worth a look. One of my favorites is the Abyss, the extended cut especially. The second Terminator will surprise you, another extremely interesting twist with a much bigger budget and incredible special effects. On an interesting note, the woman who co-wrote the script for this is Gale Anne Hurd, she also works on the Walking Dead. I would also suggest some other eighties action franchises like the Die Hards, Lethal Weapons, and Rambo flicks.

Chris

Running barefoot in the alleys of 1980s Los Angeles is a dicey proposition.

Peter K

I did and I wish I hadn't...

Lisa - Marie

we need an Arnold Schwarzenegger collection - i love too many to pick but top 5 are twins, junior, kindergarten cops, jingle all the way (christmas movie) and the terminator films (i cheated and grouped them together as one :) )

Lisa - Marie

terminator 2 is my fave terminator and i loved total recall and true lies too - don't think saw running man (not sure why)

Harvey

I watched the abyss for the first time this month luckily watched the extended version and was absolutely blown away. Alien x Arrival. I think they would absolutely love it

Kristopher Davis

I enjoy all the Terminator movies but T2 is definitely the best of them all.

Kale

I literally paused the movie to get up and grab a drink and thought to myself... I bet they figure out who the father is soon and I can't wait for that part of the reaction. BOOM a minute later and Tony's face lights up. Love your reactions, your guys are great. Can't wait for T2 LET'S GO!!!!!

Ashlyn41

Kindergarten Cop

Ludus Aurea

Legendary movie. Gonna be a fun watch later.

BusterB

Great reaction as always guys, really hope you check out Terminator 2 Judgement day, it's one of the best movies ever made.

LouiepTv

please do Terminator 2 next! lol one of the best action movies ever made!!

TA Slay

Of course you need to watch T2 now, but as far as other Arnold movies go here are my top 5: 1-Predator 2-Predator 3-Predator 4-Predator 5-Predator Yes indeed, watch Predator........do it do it do it!!!!

Lifehouse

Definately watch the 2nd one! Im actually hoping y'all do a James Cameron deepdive :-)

JJ Carlisle

Running man is not as popular. It's major sci fi and a little cheesy but it's a fun watch imo.

KingHarrison

Arnold to me is such a gym inspiration, its great I can enjoy him acting too, twins, kindergarten cop and the last action hero are amazing more light hearted films of his, save jingle all the way for Christmas ;) as for his more serious films, predator, eraser, total recall and a super underated banger THE 6TH DAY are my favs!

Ludus Aurea

Huge Arnold fan. Terminator 1 and 2 are a must; Kindergarten Cop; True Lies, Predator, definitely Total Recall, Twins.

Ludus Aurea

"CGI" wasn't a thing until Jurassic Park 1. The crew literally invented it during that movie. One guy in his garage, in fact, after hours. That said, movies before CGI became popular still employed visual effects that weren't necessarily practical. And even Jurassic Park was a mix of practical like models and animatronics, with CGI. The directors/crews found a way basically, like with George Lucas creating ILM to make everything for his movies. In 2025 a lot of people will generally refer to non-practical effects as CGI and that's fine, it's not technically correct but who cares. Like Tony said this movie is a huge part of American pop culture. Everything about it is iconic - the grimy, bleak apocalyptic future, the color grading, the music, the 80s oufits, the terminator overlay on the camera, etc. Not just Terminator but Alien, Aliens, The Thing and other scifi movies at the time all borrowed from each other and created this 80s sci-fi trope. Some of the actors in this are also pretty popular across 80s scifi and just scifi in general. Michael Biehn is also in Aliens, and he has done a lot of voice acting like in Far Cry Blood Dragon. In fact, the cover of Metal Gear was basically stolen directly from stills of Michael Biehn from either Aliens or Terminator - not sure which one. Bill Paxton is one of the spiky hair dudes at the beginning nad he's also a main character in Aliens in addition to being in other scifi movies like Edge of Tomorrow. Then of course you have Lance Henriksen from Aliens who played the detective that kept having weird commentary. The plot is insane when you think about it. You're this soldier that grew up in a future where humans are an endangered species and autonomous killer robot AI rule the world. They round up humans for forced labor and kill most of the other humans - they're decades more technologically advanced than you. And your mission is to go back in time from a future where there's a actually a resistance fighting these basic robots that kill with ease, alone, to protect someone from the most advanced Terminator model in existence that's been sent back to kill her. It's really a simple movie but again like you said, sometimes the simple concepts are the best. They squeezed like 12 different themes out of the Terminator theme and they all fit the scenes so well, and the whole movie is basically just Michael Biehn and Linda Hamilton running for their lives from this machine.

Sasha

You have to watch T2 , just like Aliens the sequel is sooooo good.

Lifehouse

So a few things i'll add.. Terminator 1 & 2 are amazing. I'll even say that Terminator 2 is probably one of if not the best action movie of that era. James Cameron is known for the practical stunts aswell as pushing the boundaries of movie making by developing or using the latest movie tech available. I can't stress enough how much i'd love to see you guys react to Titanic. (might be a smart watch+release to do soon, since it sunk on the night of the 14th-15th next month!) Mr October was right, it was Bill Burr's joke and its hilarious! Also the infiltrating terminator in that flash(forward/back) is a bodybuilding friend of Arnie :-) The 2nd movie adresses some stuff that you've questioned, but the initial conceiving of John is considered a plothole to some.. cause how did it start initially right? Its a weird loop. Im sure there are people way smarter than me that would agree and also people way smarter than me that could counter argue. Ive just put it to rest and decided 'to hell with it'- and enjoy it for what it is. I don't know if you guys already filmed T2, but if not.. i would love to hear Brooke's opinion on Sarah Conner (and her destiny). She, unlike so many other reacters has the unique point of view of currently being pregnant while watching this. Anyways, y'all know I love ya, keep it up and stay in good health <3

Jacob Gregg

Def watch the rest of them, when you watch the second one watch the extended edition or special edition one

Chris

I've seen this movie a dozen times but only today realized that Reese was wearing the homeless guy's disgusting smelly hobo pants the entire movie.

Chris

Reese being John's father is called a causal loop, like in the TV show Dark where there is an object (no spoilers) that has no actual creation point - the biggest irony is that this shows that John Connor is wrong - there IS fate, because Reese was fated to be John's father his entire life. In this theory of time travel, you can't change the past or the future. Back to the Future avoids this by making any change result in a different timeline. Although weirdly the causal looping stops in T2, and it changes to the Back to the Future version of time travel, and allows for "no fate but what we make" to become possible.

Chris

Even T3. Sure, it would have been better if Edward Furlong hadn't been fired for being drugged out, but it's not that bad. In fact, it probably would have been better with Edward Furlong drugged out, because John was basically a homeless bum at that point anyway.

KiwiJello

I saw this when I was 10 years old. I got an adult to take me to see "A nightmare on Elm St" and when Tina got killed, the adult decided THAT movie was too violent. We went next door and watch THIS... no violence here! LMAO I am with everyone else; You MUST watch "Terminator 2". It's it literally an action cinema MASTERPIECE!!!

Mack

1:54:25 lol that's exactly why Skynet and in the Matrix AI started the war the "kill" switch

Alex Hargis

We need an Arnold marathon, and a James Cameron marathon, but T2 as other's have said is the creme de la creme, Greatest sequel ever made imo, you must watch it.

reactive1

I learned a valuable lesson from this movie. I had my first date on my 16th birthday and took her to see this movie. This is NOT a chick flick. Definitely wasn’t a good decision and we didn’t go out again. So, I learned what not to take a girl to see on a date.

Brieanne

You guys should definitely watch Kindergarten Cop!

Jonathan

Kindergarten Cop was definitely one of my comfort comedies as a kid.

Ryan Evans

I loved this movie one of my favs great movie for me this ànd terminator 2 are 10 out 10 movies
