I definitely agree with your point about the Terminus group. Ultimately, even if killing them brought Rick's group some sort of moral dishonor, I think living with that dishonor is a small price to pay if it results in sparing people from being victimized by the Terminus group in the future. Morals are good so they don't become animals, but it has to be balanced with survival.

It isn't pathetic at all! My husband was an over the road trucker and that is how I got started watching reactions, since I didn't have anyone to watch with, either! I felt less lonely too! I bet that is how a lot of people feel. I just get a huge kick out of people enjoying things I love. I get a lot of joy out of it!

i don't think they were upset they killed the terminus ppl. I think that it was done extremely brutally lol. even in this world, watching your friend turn someone into ground meat with a machete, and Abraham blunt force trauma'ing someone with the butt of a gun is still a lot to take in.

I LOVE the scene of them in the church having a feast.. it’s so pure and normal.. they’re all a family. Been through so much, and get a night of normalcy together. For the first time in a whileeee. Love this family!

so yeah sorry if i comment alot but man for this first episode i just remember being so freakjing excited to see what happened after waiting so long . my grandma was invested in it with me so both me and her would make my grsndpa cough up the remote so we can start early and man the commercials leading into it then it finally starting . i remember being so locked in and then shocked when i saw tht blonde guy rick and carol found . nd then the reunion just sheesh man . ricks acting man . you can just feel his energy hes like a predator truly hunting you hungry ready to kill you . alert .now just imagine what shane would been like .

Well, hot diggity dog, if that wasn't a crazy start! I haven't seen the series since the original release, plus I have the comic series mixing things up in my head, so revisiting the series with you guys has been a whole new experience.

Season 5 premiere is probably the best premiere in the show besides Season 1. Well, one of the top 5, I'd put Season 1 - 5 premiere as the best on the show. Season 7 for comic book fans, maybe even Season 9. One of my favorites for sure it's almost pure action and you see all of the squad becoming badasses, especially Carol.

Probably the most absurd thing aside from Daryl's infinite multi-use arrows is Michonne's sword - 20 bodies in that sword would already be chipped and dull, and there's no way she'd know how to maintain or repair it.

The biggest reason the show 'falls off' is due to how they shot so many focused episodes and people needing to wait 4 weeks to see a character they like/want to see. You get to watch 3 at a time, we had to wait 3 weeks, sometimes longer, to see these people. So take for example season 4, We had a Carl and Rick episode, we had a Daryl and Beth episode, so if you cared to see anyone else you had to wait at least 3 weeks, but then you get their episodes so you have to wait 3 more episodes to get back to Rick. This gets worse. However, binging the show like you are doing, you don't get this frustration. Watching week to week lost a lot of people, binging will not.

Definitely some of the best episodes of TWD. I have ZERO pity for Gareth and his group. Just because you are abused and traumatized, you don’t have a green light to do the same to others. Gareth thought he was slick turning Bob into Shish-ka-Bob... but nope, tainted meat! He got what he deserved....although, I may have hacked off a limb or two first. He should've clocked that Rick was different. Rick immediately knew something was off when he got to Terminus and saw his people's property. What morons. Rick was not wrong for coming through on that promise. I've only watched to season 9 but I don't think it falls off for me. This is a great show and I'm sure it'll have great moments past that. Thanks for churning these out so fast! See ya'll on the next one! Love ya'll!❤️

I think some of the characters were bothered by what happened at the church not because they killed the cannibals, but the way it was done. Rick, Sasha, and Abe butchered them. And even if they deserved it, it just goes to show how dark and cold they've had to become to survive this long. That said, you guys should never feel wrong for voicing your opinions and interpretations of the show. It's a shame that a lot of people are incapable of respectfully disagreeing haha.

Y’all should release some type of merch for the fan base you have, I can see why you think it would be corny but it doesn’t have to be. If you just make a bunch of generic merch for a cash grab then yea it’s corny, but if you make something that Y’ALL LIKE and is authentic to y’all then ain’t nothing corny about it. Coffee cups, hats, beanies, could be a good spot to start. And then gauge interest in tshirts and hoodies

The tainted meat scene is straight from the comic but it was Allen (the governor shot him and his son on the side of the road in season 3.) when they do scenes from the comic they’re so good.

Not sure you caught it, but the guy Glen lets out of the container when they're escaping, the crazy dude with the long hair, is the same guy that was holding the Terminus people prisoner and raping the women that they show at the very end of the episode. They must've just been keeping him locked up and alive as torture. He definitely deserved it, imo.

Don't go into it thinking the show "falls off." Some people didn't like certain decisions made in the series, especially ones that strayed from the original comic book material (IYKYK), but I thought the show was good until the end, though there are definitely some seasons better than others. Season 5 is definitely top 3 seasons for me (along with 4 and 9!), so enjoy it, and I'll keep enjoying the ride along with y'all!

Also, I think the characters in the church looking "appalled" was much less about the fact that they were killing the Termites, but much more about the sheer brutality of the killings. I, as a viewer, of course absolutely relished in the brutality, as these people didn't deserve quick deaths, but to see your friends viciously stabbing/hacking/bashing people to death could definitely be hard to watch.

FWIW Tyreese wasn't there, and he doesn't seem to want to have to do these things to survive. And Glen probably doesn't want to see his friends become monsters. Glen has been the conscience of the group since the start. And, don't underestimate the shock factor of seeing someone hacked apart with a machete. Otherwise, I agree with you, Mr. October, all the way.
