That “we are the walking dead” scene is another one straight from the comic where I was saying when they follow the comic it’s usually the bestmoments in the show. Aaron is The Immortal in Invincible. Also music boxes aren’t hard to fix really but he said the gears were just gunked up.

As a psychologist who has dealt with a lot with trauma professionally, Andrew Lincoln's acting in Ep12 when being interviewed is a masterclass on PTSD. That's what acute combat PTSD looks like. If you watch closely, you'll notice he almost never blinks the entire time he's talking.

To me it makes sense they were spying and being observant, they too have a right to be cautious about who they save or let into their community. Rick did it with Michonne, I mean she came to them for help and he was a bit aggressive with her because she was quiet but she had the baby formula so maybe that's why, but he was cautious and all that was before Terminus. Aaron's approach was a bit odd and him talking too much got him punched in the face lol. But it all makes sense how Rick is acting after Terminus so the caution coming from both sides is understandable to me.

There was a show called The Talking Dead that would air every Sunday night after new episodes of TWD. It was a talk show that would have the actors on to talk about the episode. The host of that show called that guy on the porch 'Porch Dick'. That's all I can think about when I see him.. he will forever be 'Porch Dick' to me..

Oh goodness, y'all crack me up with the discussion at the beginning. I could tell you some stories just like your Dad and neighbor Mr. O....it's how I grew up. My sister is kind of a grody bitch too... but only I can say that. Also, Mrs. O you're a beautiful woman and glowing from pregnancy...that's a fact. Love you. As far as the actors for Daryl and Beth dating goes....I don't think they ever did. I remember seeing an interview with Norman Reedus where he said it was only rumors and she was like his little sister. Of course, that could be BS but I do know he's been with Diane Kruger for the past 10 or 11 years...they've got a daughter named Nova Tennessee and he has a son from before that with model Helena Christensen. I tend to believe him. I am with y'all on not trusting these people just yet...however, I do think going in there is a good idea. Our group is strong enough to take over if it comes to that so why not get cleaned up and rested? I think Rick has the right idea. Also, there are people who will want this community....better to be in it and defend from the inside. Good episodes coming up....can't wait for more! Love y'all!❤️

When Glenn says in Ep12 "we were almost out there too long", that's why he had the look he did in the church hacking up cannibals. They were on the edge of becoming monsters. Glenn was never down with that.

I think that the audience is supposed to side more with Rick and feel skeptical about this group too but with the hope that the others have that it could be a good place. Having the lines about how quiet it was outside of Woodbury and Terminus and then pulling up to Alexandria and just hearing kids playing was such a good way to ease Rick up a bit. And I love that Carol isn't letting them know how strong she is, she's playing the helpless little housewife. So she's not fully trusting this place either.

I totally get being annoyed watching it now but when I first saw Aaron I legit was yelling KILL HIM the entire episode we meet him. Lol 😆 first watch always gets that reaction. They portrayed him really creepy that first episode on purpose. They wanted Aaron to remind every one of the terminus leader. Very similar mannerisms in both their first meetings.

Bit of a throwback, but I think that the reason Glenn & Maggie were upset about the way Rick & Sasha & Michonne killed the Termites happened to be the WAY that they killed them, not necessarily that they killed them in the first place. Glenn has still not killed a single person yet, so taking a life is a big deal to him, and it shouldn't be enjoyed necessarily, and seeing them brutally hacking & slashing & chopping & gutting them all in a church of all places probably just rocked them a bit.

I totally understand you guys being skeptical about going to a new place after facing the governor and Terminus however I don’t think the show would go on for so long if they just kept roaming around. Glen said it himself “we were almost out there for too long” meaning they all seen Rick losing his grip on reality and his humanity was slowly slipping away while the rest of the group still had that trust in them to where they could trust other people especially after everything Aaron told them was true. Mr October said in the beginning he didn’t like it when the group was just walking around aimlessly and now that they are getting the chance to make a home your all against it. Again I totally understand why you’d be skeptical but you have to know that they would eventually find another place to call home within a community. There is 11 seasons you had to know for the rest of the 6 seasons they don’t just roam around the USA. The bigger themes especially in these last 2 episodes were Rick gaining back his humanity and ability to trust again while still maintaining some caution

I feel like you guys don't get some things the way you're supposed to get. Like, when some of them slaughtered the Terminus people and got some dirty looks from Gabriel, Tyrese, Glenn and Maggie you were like " I don't like that they're feeling bad about it, those guys are canibals, they deserve it!" but like, the problem wasn't the fact that they were killing those guys but HOW they were killing them. They could've just shot them or buried a knife in the back of their skull, chest or slit their throats. But they didn't do that, they really "sliced and diced" those guys. And the point is, what will letting yourself behave like that do to you? Are you becoming stronger or losing yourself? That is the constant question. And as you watch the show you may realize that the main message is that you CANNOT lose yourself. That is literally why Shane didn't work out, he lost himself too soon. And Rick has been losing himself since he lost the prison in season 4. After the finale of season 3 he tried to take a step back and become a farmer and whatnot. He did that for himself and for his son and he had Hershal guiding him. But when he lost Hershal and the prison in one fell swoop he let himself fall into this darkness that he's always had in him. That is why he killed those marauders they came across before Terminus in the manner he did, that is why he wanted to go straight back into Terminus to finish them all off saying they don't get to live after they had all gotten out, that's why he killed them in the church the way he did, thats why he killed that cop Bob the way he did and said "you can't go back bob" a line that the leader of Terminus had said to our Bob back in the very premiere just a few episodes ago, and now that is why he's saying they will just take over Alexandria if it doesn't work out. The whole point is to show how easy anyone can become the bad guys given the right conditions and us as viewers are supposed to recognize that and how wrong it is. Yet mister October is like, oh I like that rick said that! Like, excuse me but what right do they have to come in and talke over the place? None! Just like the governor had no right to roll up a tank to the prison and demand them to leave!

You are absolutely supposed to have grip on the bottom of your feet. That "cheese grater" removes a natural and functional biological feature of humans for the sake of a "beauty" trend. That's literally the purpose of the ridges in fingerprints and foot/toe prints, is so that we can have more grip when we walk barefoot and interact with things. Not having grip means you are aging yourself by forcing your skin to produce cells to often and eventually they slow to a crawl and you start looking old af. So screw "beauty" trends. To me its a sign of a lack of confidence and a reliance on a constantly changing social beauty standard thats antithetical to the biology of the human body.

The ppl of Alexandria needed Rick's group because the community ppl are weak. Many are just living life, never leaving the walls, and they've really suffered no real hardships compared to most ppl. And as far as what they are eating, they are eating like they did before the apocalypse more or less (around 3 meals a day, snacks etc) because they have had an abundance of food. Deanna told Rick that the whole of N Virginia was evacuated, and that there have hardly been any walkers or people around. So there were no doubt tons of food and other supplies to be scavenged in a large area and a that's what the Alexandrians did. You can see they are so comfy with food that they aren't really doing any real rationing, and they haven't even started growing anything. (In my opinion a mistake because they have to know the supplies won't last forever). They are all just really naive. Most survivors don't have a grocery-store style pantry they can head to to get whatever they want. They also have indoor plumbing, heating and air conditioning, electricity, running water, hot water, and they don't have cable or internet but they can play video games and watch movies, etc. Many of the kids are walking around in collared shirts and sweater-vests lol....they are living, but they haven't had to survive. They truly have no idea what it's really like out there 'in the real world'. They've just been lucky that they haven't encountered bad people or a ton of walkers up to this point. Most of the people don't even know how to use weapons, they've felt so safe and comfortable that they haven't felt the need to learn about them.
