Shirley you can't be serious.

JJ Carlisle

Put "The Naked Gun " trilogy on your list. If you loved this then that will be right up your alley.

JJ Carlisle

And "Hot Shots" also but you have to watch "Top Gun" first

J-rad

Thank you so much!! I’ll be watching this when I get home!! This is top tier classic comedy!!

Peter K

I suggested you two do some less dark stuff, and I don't know if that helped bring on this one, but it is really good for a laugh. This is the first, and I think best, of the slew of parody films that followed this. They are all pretty funny, but this is the GOAT. Other comedies worth your time: My Cousin Vinny, Young Frankenstein, and the Back to the Future trilogy.

Mama Browsss

This is the first movie I ever saw in a theatre without my parents. Though I was with my big sister!

DarrellWaller

The horse joke was from The Godfather. They placed a horse's head in the bed of one of their enemies. Great movie.

Peter K

Nice spoiler Darrell. They are planning on watching it, since it is #2 on their 250 list.

Cameron Kolhoff

You guys should check out "true lies" it's a comedy/action movie with both bill Paxton and Arnold Schwarzenegger made in 1994

Enterprise24

The drinking joke with Striker is that he had a drinking problem, i.e., he kept splashing his face instead of drinking it normal lol That's a joke I use with my friends if they spill water on themselves.

TheOctobers

yes I believe it was you who has been suggesting we thank you for it we really needed that!

-Money Pit -My Cousin Vinny -Fried green Tomatoes -Big -Uncle Buck -Adventures in Babysitting -Twins -Kindergarten Cop -The Goonies -The Breakfast Club -National Lampoons Vacation -The Great Outdoors -Men in Black 1,2&3 -Back to Future Trilogy OMG there's so MANY more fantastic ones y'all will love! The only thing better then watching the reactions is if (WE) the viewer, could be right there in the middle quite literally filling in the gaps. I talk to the screen constantly.... "OK now that's the guy that was in blah blah and that's blah blahs dad/etc and this means this or is talking about this." Lol. I enjoy watching with you two so much! Keep being your sweetheart, funny selves and I'm sure tha real ones will always stick around! Much Love OctFam😬💚🙋‍♀️

J-rad

I laughed sooo hard watching this with you even though I watch it at least once a year. And watching first timers laugh like I always laugh at this is so rewarding! Thanks again for doing it. Mrs October, wishing you a safe delivery! You both take time as needed. We’ll still be here. As far as 80s comedies, my 4 favorites I always quote: Airplane! National Lampoon’s Vacation, A Fish Called Wanda, and 9 to 5! All amazing.

LLCoolT

So funny that Mrs O said the disco dance reminds her of Pulp Fiction. Ted was imitating John Travolta dancing in one of his first movie roles, Saturday Night Fever!!!

Lee Shafer

Btw I think you are both incredible people !

Gail Ferguson

I love how much y'all were cracking up while discussing the movie at the end. I was almost crying from laughing with you. Really glad you are enjoying these movies. And yes, this was a PG movie, before PG-13 was a thing.

Josip Buretić

That was great,we need more reactions to comedys. Watching you laughing was so much fun. "Top Secret" is another great one that you definitely would enjoy.

Peter K

True Lies is also directed by James Cameron...

TheOctobers

thank you! our baby that is on the way's middle name is Lee! spelt just like yours!

Lee Shafer

That’s so cool 😎

Scribe31oz

One of the greatest comedies of all time.

Joshua Fields

Well, clearly now you need to watch the Police Squad tv series and then the Naked Gun movies to continue the Zucker/Abrams/Zucker experience!

Michael W

It was funny enough having the lady speak jive, but it's even funnier knowing the actress played June Cleaver on the show Leave it to Beaver. She was always the perfect house wife, prim and proper - the absolute last person you would ever expect to break out in some jive talk. Yeah, this movie is perfectly stupid and funny.

Jim Schmitz

My cheeks!! Your laughs added so much to the craziness. Yes to more comedies, please.

Trans-American Airlines means, "across" America. It's not a real airline, of course, but there was an airline called TWA which was Trans-World Airlines. Trans is a prefix to mean across or beyond. Think transatlantic or transcontinental. TWA was iconic but great things rarely stay great. It was acquired by American Airlines 20+ years ago.
