Once I saw this movie, I thought they contradicted a line in Episode 4 when Obi Wan, on seeing R2D2, said he didn't remember the droid. Maybe Jedi aren't immune to mental decline?

theres so much i want to say but i have to bite my tongue at the risk of spoiling things you havent put together yet lolol, but the prequels really do make you have sooooooooooooo much more appreciation for the OG trilogy when you get the full scope of the story. Just from this movie we see anakin start as a literal slave and he ends up having to leave his mother and the one person who believed in him and truly helped him besides his mother was killed.

A. There were two open world big ass Star Wars games. Star Wars galaxies went on for like 20 years and has been shut down. The old republic is still live after 14 years. Star Wars outlaws is sort of open world. B. There was a pod racing game on n64/ pc / ps and there is actually a new one in development.

Believe it or not a lot of episode 1 is still practical although literally all the landscapes are cg. I’m excited for 2 and 3. It only gets better.

Well it’s not retcon specifically- he never owned a droid. Obiwan lost every droid he worked with but r2 was anakins. I guess it’s retcon based on that one line from ep 4.

I want to mention this before I forget I'm at the part you ask if Darth Vader thought about his old friend yes in the comic books I think he spared them and he saved them even in his Darth Vader uniform he still have some good in him he remember his childhood friend and it's funny because I was thinking about that before you even said anything ironically you ask the question the universe is funny sometime thank you guys for the great reaction I'll continue watching the video for now

It's extremely amazing that you guys like Star wars the phantom menace funny thing is when it first came out in theaters people were extremely excited to watch it after they finish watching the movie they hated it because of the character jar jar Binks he was an idiot and the clumsy alien but little did it know jar jar Binks was a secret sith Lord lol it's a joke among the fandom I'm not spoiling anything 😂🤣😂🤣 jar jar bink was so hated that the fan petition that George Lucas get rid of this character so in the other film is lightly used for the foreseeable future I kind of like it well throughout the years and appreciating the movie even more because it was ahead of his time now people love the first movie I just can't wait till you see the second and third movie those are my favorite out of the prequels and I'm glad you guys love every bit of the movie in time people end up loving the first one even though it got a lot of hate back then
