Awesome reaction, Jes. Season 5 is such a good season. All the Kreese stuff in prison this episode was amazing. Especially that powerful therapy session where he faced his past demons. The acting from all the cast in that scene was amazing, especially Martin Kove. How he reacted to every vision of the people that impacted him the most in his life was just beautiful. You could see the PTSD in his eyes as we saw his loss, regret, sadness, anger, and in all vulnerability, which is rare to see from old Kreese today. What makes it even better is that Kove used his real emotions. Martin Kove's acting career had caused relationship problems for him in real life. So when he saw his lost love Betsy, he used all his unhappiness from his personal problems and was able to cry. Co-creator and co-showrunner of Cobra Kai Hayden Schlossberg said himself that Kove's acting in that therapy scene was the best he had ever seen from him and that it was Emmy material. It was also cool to see some of the cast from Kreese's backstory return again for the little therapy session. Emily Marie Palmer as Betsy, Terry Serpico as Captain George Turner, and of course Barrett Charahan as young John Kreese.
