I don't know, I think it's like 'we met you so late in the series' thing. You met Maddie in the beginning, regardless of whether you liked or disliked her in season one. She has been with you for three full seasons. Jax wasn't attempting to hurt Emma last season; he just wanted Emma to be more powerful and embrace her witch side more. Do I share his motives and approach? No. He was just as sneaky and manipulative as Mia, but the difference is that he wasn't turning into people or trying to ruin friendships. Also, he genuinely liked Emma. It was love at first sight for him. I do think Mia developed real feelings for Daniel as her plan went on, but she didn't like him in her first episode. Despite her genuine feelings, she still manipulates Daniel. And I don't want to compare parents dying like Maddie, Jax, and Emma lost a parent, but Mia's parents were murdered. No seven-year-old should have to carry that burden for the rest of their life. I do feel bad for her despite what she did. While I am fond of the Mia character, it should not be introduced in the third season of a four-season show. Even though you sympathize with Mia, we will not support her over the characters we knew from the start. Also, when it came to Beau and Julio, Beau couldn't talk and Julio still acted like a frog, so while Maddie and the principal were able to do the spell, they both couldn't do it right. The intention behind Mia and Daniel's kiss was for the audience to watch Daniel discover what she did. But are we supposed to disregard the fact that he kissed her back or what? And he was holding her hand and resting his hands on her back as well. Then he wants to say, 'I love Emma'. I could not have an eye roll any bigger.

everything you said was 100% right except i don’t think daniel kissed her back his eyes were wide open with no movement and then he had a flashback so he frozen from seeing that and he pushed her away as soon as he was out of it but i don’t excuse that kiss at all he should’ve pushed her away as soon as her lips touched his

-everyone has been so snarky these last few episodes, it's setting the tone up for season 4 perfectly -it's okay for a character to be defensive but Mia is always on the defense to the point where you feel bad for her but you don't like her, so that's probably what's irking you -Daniel was low-key lying he was never truly clear on his relationship with Mia, he would be blatantly flirting with Mia in front of Emma's face - I like Gigi but she really does irk me - I hate the example that i'm about to give but the council when it comes to Emma is like in black culture when your parents tell you your not allowed to date but then expect you to be married with kids when your an adult 😭 like the council has to let her learn and make mistakes but instead they just expect her to do, like I love lily but her being the chosen one of all people's guardian and having no powers doesn't help to the situation either.
