the actor for A-lan is Matt Cornett, he's been in a lot of things he was a lead in High School Musical The Musical The Series, he had a reoccurring role in Bella & The Bulldogs, and he was the love interest in Summer of 69, and he's about to be the lead in a new series called Every year after soon.

I'm so glad this is your favourite of the Zombies movies!! It's mine too and so few people feel that way. A-spen and Willa are a canon couple, Terry Hu who plays A-spen was recently on the Magical Rewind podcast and talked about how the writers really pushed Disney to get a queer relationship in this movie. Also, I notice you called A-spen "her" during the reaction but A-spen actually goes by they/them pronouns like the actor Terry does. I don't blame you at all for not noticing because it's done so seamlessly, that's what Terry wanted, they wanted A-spen's gender to just be treated as normal. So if you ever rewatch this movie keep that in mind and you'll notice all the characters referring to A-spen by they/them pronouns throughout the movie. Also A-spen is the first ever, and to date only ever, non binary character in a Disney movie. Terry said that when they were cast as A-spen the Zombies team didn't know that Terry's non binary, but when the writers were told this by the casting team it was the writer's choice to make A-spen non binary too which is amazing. They even talked to Terry at length about how they wanted the A-spen doll to look and if they should give the doll a chest binder. Basically the Zombies team really pushed to make this movie even more inclusive than the others and that's amazing. As for the movie itself, it's so much fun. The songs are all FIRE, Exceptional Zed is my favourite. And Addison and Zed are adorable. Also that "hi baby" at the end was Milo to Meg rather than their characters but the director thought it was so cute that he kept it in. 😂 Ok, I'll shut up now lol. I just love this movie and I'm glad you did too. 😊

Disney made a show with a queer main character, likely without realizing it at first. When they found out, they cut it short. The creator doubled down, making it fully canon. The show was great and funny, and with her team, she ended it on her own terms. Disney gave us the "it didn't fit the Disney brand" excuse and that's when we knew it was bullshit because the show was doing very good. Again lucky the shiw had a great team working on it because they still managed to end everything neatly
