I just had a random thought. Conrad took a long flight to Paris to see Belly, then went sightseeing with her, then went to her pre birthday dinner and then stayed up with her until 4 am. I know he didn't sleep so how in the heck is he not jetlagged and exhausted. The adrenaline must have hit him lol

Belly has always been insecure with her relationship with Conrad and I definitely understand why especially because we see it through the first and second seasons. And then her relationship with Jeremiah was entertained so deeply in their grief of Susannah and she didn’t want that to be the case with Conrad either. That conversation they had was so important for them to be able to be in a long lasting relationship now. They were both so honest and vulnerable and it was a heartbreakingly beautiful scene. She had to remember that yes you can grow and change but that doesn’t mean you have to completely give up certain parts of yourself either aka the part of her that loves Conrad and always will and that it has nothing to do with Susannah. I loved seeing her run after him and declare her love and then of course the infinity necklace 😭 I love them so much and can’t wait for the movie to see them happy and in love 🥹

I cried to the ending 😭 too. It reminded so much of Spencer and Olivia from All American from the rebound dating to the running to the airport or (train station in this case) it's the cliche I live for. This was a perfect finale 👏😊. Until the movie 🍿.

That's the problem I have with Bonrad; there is no growth in their relationship, it is all based on nostalgia, and Conrad is obsessed with a relationship that only lasted six months.

You're not alone. I think that if the movie had ended with Belly picking herself up and then going back to Conrad, I would believe this story, but I don't understand it.
