House of Anubis was one of my fave shows bc it seemed mature and serious compared to the other children shows especially for Nickelodeon. It was on paramount+ idk why it’s not anymore, season 1 was on Netflix idk if it still is. Also, no they aren’t magic, it’s connected to Egyptian mythology so there’s magical/supernatural stuff involved, but the characters themselves don’t have magic.

- house of anubis, my shayla ♥️ she was ahead of her time - there is no magic but there are curses, puzzles, prophecies, lore, & ancient Egyptian hieroglyphics - Nina constantly reminding us she was American, which was a choice for sure. I paid it no mind when I was 9 but like damn is that the only thing you have to say about yourself girl. - patrica was a bit bitchy at first but to be fair she’s like this with everybody, & they are trying to paint it like she’s crazy when nobody else is questioning anything in regards to joy - considering the fact that hoa was nicks first show to set the movement for shows coming on Monday through Friday, they probably did get some inspo from Amber for Maddie but surprisingly so they’re both still different to me at least. Like some things Maddie would do Amber would never do. - Amber is a lot of things but she’s not dumb, she already knew. Mick is oblivious to everything outside of his bubble & Mara’s sneaky believe it or not - jerome is a menace we still love him somehow someway though - it was on paramount but they took off all the “underground” nick shows off for some odd reason or they’ll have like only the 1st season, which is even weirder
