I mean to be fair all Chloe said is that she needed to leave. Like she didn't give Emily an actual reason just told her that she needed to leave. Obviously us, the audience knows why Chloe leaving but how is Emily supposed to know she's just doesn't want to leave to just be leaving? Maybe Emily approached could have been friendlier but other than that. 🤷🏽‍♀️

that’s true she should’ve said why but i also understand why she didn’t either, she didn’t want people to know. i just think my issue with emily is her approach. she needs to be a bit nicer and understanding cause she’s working these poor people to the boneeee

I'm sorry, but I just can't hate Emily. Maybe it's Alexandra Beaton's acting, but the way she portrays Emily in such a vulnerable way. We were supposed to see Emily as just a mean girl who picks on Michelle, but thanks to Alexandra's facial expressions, you can clearly see that Emily has her own demons and insecurities beneath the surface. Now I will say, out of all the 'E' girls, Emily is the only one I actually like just because she has her own personality. I didn't care for Stephanie messing up Michelle's dance routine or for Tiffany messing with Daniel. And while I can respect loyalty on some surfaces because that's how I ride, I don't like that being Emily's friend is their entire personality. But I like that line from Stephanie about how 'Emily may be able to forgive her because there blood but E girls can't' because it's shows it's not just Emily like even looking at Emily face like you can see that Emily feels bad that she had to do that. I don't think she enjoy it, and I feel like she truly loves and care about her little sister. Now, Riley is just pissing me off because why is she up Michelle's ass? At end of the day like Riley made A-troupe. She clearly is a good dancer. Can a dancer not make mistakes? Is it expected of her to be flawless on the first day? She was nervous and shy but clearly Chris and Kate saw someone in her in the first place to put her on A-troupe. Why can't Emily see the same thing in her sister? And honestly, I would probably pick a dancer I knew longer over someone new. At the end of the day, Emily knows what her sister can do, and I don't see anything wrong with Emily believing in her. You can debate why Emily didn't pick any other dancer to be in that spot for example Chloe, Eldon, West instead of Riley. Like why did it have to be Michelle when there are other dancers who did better than Riley not just Michelle but nobody whining about Emily not picking them it just because she didn't pick Michelle. So everyone thinks Michelle a better dancer than them? Emily even put Tiffany in the back row and that's one of her best friends. So clearly she didn't pick the lined up completely based off of who she like or don't like. I know the show trying to push Emily vs Michelle rivalry and like Emily only put Michelle in the back because she doesn't like her but if that was just case than why isn't all of Emily 'E' girls up front? Like yeah Emily might had been a little bias when picking Michelle spot but clearly she wasn't when she pick Tiffany so it hard to be mad at her when she put other dancers that she not friends with before her actual friends. And Chloe just got put in the back because she new. And I get the logic about earning your spot. I forgot just how much I dislike Michelle. The idea of having to like this character because they are nice is always dissatisfied to me. How do we know Michelle is nice? What has she done to show that she is nice, and how can we come to that assumption in four episodes? Nobody knows this girl, but everyone is just kissing her ass because Emily doesn't like her. Michelle, I'm sorry, but everyone is not going like you. Grow a backbone, stand up for yourself but her looking like she about to cry in every damn confessional is getting on my nerves. But at the moment, Michelle and Riley are my least favorite. And Riley crying at end talking about 'my own sister, my family...' like don't pissed me off because was you thinking about your sister? No. Your too busy kissing this random girl ass that you don't know instead of being a sister to your actual sister. I forgot how much this arc pisses me off because all Emily did was give her little sister a shot like right or wrong she did it because she loves Riley and believes in her. I'm sorry for my outburst, but I forgot how much I loved this show. Emily's character is someone I will always defend. And yes, she is that girl. She is the IT girl, the blueprint, and I love her.

i like emily as well, but just because i have watched the show fully. at this point she isnt very likeable imo. she may have her demons, but she still is rude to michelle who hasnt done anything to her. i think here picking her sister is understandable and i dont think i would have what riley did. but the decision wasnt really that fair to the team from emily. and what stefany did wasnt great either, they kinda had it coming what ends up happening. but like i said, i think its hart writing this comment with knowing what happens with the characters and how they grow without spoiling

Kierra

I'm a Emily season one apologist and obviously I know they're just trying to push this Emily vs Michelle rivalry like it's I get the story point but it like Emily pick Riley over every other dancer too so why don't none of them won't the spot like everyone just whining about Michelle but it's like you could make argument over Emily not picking any of dancers over Riley too. Like why is everything about Michelle? I'm not registering with Michelle and this is only making me like Emily more.

When I first watched this show it was free on YouTube, but then show later on got picked up by paramount. It gave that free show vibes and I loved it 😊 🤣. Not to give too much away but how people feel about this show is kinda the same with One Tree Hill. There is a “need” to pick sides. I watched dancers react to this show and for the most part they agreed with Emily because her character did what they experienced. Letting new dancers wait to get front line up( that it wouldn’t change after one miss up) the over rehearsal to get it perfect, and not letting a dancer leave practice without reason. Similar things like that happen in future of the show as well. However the drama side of the show is going to lose the reasoning in her decision. Because we also know she has malicious intentions towards Michelle. And how weird the e girls are moving it doesn’t help her case. So yeah. The show though is super fun, silly and a good cringe. I think I started watching in 2016 and stopped after season 4. Hopefully 🤞🏾 you have fun🤩

My best guess as to why the show is non-streamable is because it’s Canadian and we don’t have the rights to stream it in America

Kierra

We used too. I binge watched the first four maybe five seasons on Hulu. Than I remember universal kids picking it up which when that happen I think Hulu lost the rights. But it didn't do good there's so they put it on Netflix for season seven I believe and that's the last season I believe that was release in usa officially.

Also I just realized who one of J-troupe dancer was and I'm about to cry (happy tears)

it's so crazy cause emily is doing this for no real reason. michelle has done nothing to her
