It did annoy me when they were pushing the fact that “when you get pregnant you HAVE to have and keep your baby” you could abort it or put it up for adoption it is ONE OF THE MANY things that annoys me about shows that are centered around teen pregnancy like in The secret life of an American teenager

The Psycho Derek plot is what I hate in this season but what I was saying in the last comment from last week was the love/hate thing was not talking about it is the end of the psycho Derek storyline (I will make sure to point it out when we get to it) and let’s talk about the amount of teen dramas that has at least one storyline of a teacher/student relationship (Pretty little liars, one tree hill, Riverdale and more) it is SO disgusting and the worst part about it is the fact that these shows are targeted to 14-16 age girls who doesn’t know any better (me included) until they are older and sees that it is not ok! This needs to stop being in these types of shows!!!

Peyton is unfortunately like Cassie from Euphoria imo, and Brooke like Maddie...and just as I was on Maddie's side throughout the show, i'm exactly the same way with Brooke. She has her faults sure, and she may be a little mean sometimes but who wouldn't be when your best friend and supposed boyfriend play in your face TWICE?

This was insane! I was not prepared for this, poor Peyton. I feel so bad for her and I don't really like the whole Lucas and Peyton thing, but I love Lucas for protecting Peyton whit this, that was really sweet and poor real Derek, getting to meet your half sister in this way, when a pysho is trying to do that to her, holy shit. I'm happy Nathan came around, about the baby, Naley litarly is the only good thing in this show and Deb can litary go away, cause jezus christ, why is she doing this bullshit, again? Whit the whole 'I hate Haley for taking my son away' girl, that's on you and Dan, not Haley. And that teacher and Brooke thing? Help.

Hi Jesly, first time commenting but this is also my first time watching One Tree Hill as well & I just gotta say this show is complete chaos. I truly believe this show got as popular as it did because of the unhinged, out-of-left-field plot lines. You never know where this show is gonna go. It keeps you on your toes. I was actually shocked that it was Haley that was pregnant. I was genuinely afraid & on the verge of tears watching that Peyton’s House scene, it was straight out of a horror movie. Then Dan being a sliver of nice to just remind us why we hate him. Never change Daniel and Haley is so funny for telling Nathan she’s pregnant after he tells her, he got a scholarship to Duke. Huh, Brooke sleeping with the new teacher….wonder how this is gonna go(*sigh*). Also peyton actually having a half-brother maybe?? But he’s also black, another possibly plot twist I didn’t see coming. Brooke covering for Haley is kinda sweet & immediately telling everyone in school since Nathan already knew. I really like their friendship. Rachel still trying to shoot her shot after lying is CRAZY but not surprising. Also what the fuck happened in that sunken limo??? Somebody show us please!?! Popular opinion: all the women on this show are so gorgeous and I truly love this community, it’s such an amazing space, thank you & love you jesly! ❤️

Rewatching reminds me of how much they hated Peyton's character. They have her fighting her best friend over Lucas and his chancla feet, and now this whole Derek stalker plotline. It's really getting exhausting.

I mean… at least Rachel has some morals. I guess?? Like girl will steal your boyfriend, your husband, but apparently your baby daddy is where she draws the line. The bar is in hell but okay Rachel. But honestly, I kinda get what Dan was trying to say about Haley going on tour. That was her dream, and now Duke is basically Nathan’s version of that. BUT why are we keeping score like this is some kind of relationship scoreboard?? “I got my dream, so now it’s your turn, and after that it’s back to me” like that’s not how marriage works. You don’t take turns living your life like y’all are passing around a trophy. And with Dan… even if I believe he’s being genuine (and I actually think he is), sir… you have done WAY too much. There comes a point where “I’m sorry” doesn’t magically fix years of damage. Like congratulations on finding your conscience, but I’m still not moved. 💀 Also this whole storyline? I hate it. I genuinely hate it. I think it was season 2 when he first started commenting on Peyton’s webcam, and then the writers just dropped it completely. So I’m glad they remembered it for continuity, but that does not make me like it any more. It’s just creepy, and I hate it for Peyton. And I’m still crying over the casting choices because why did they cast a white man who could literally pass as Peyton’s brother just to make him a stalker?? Meanwhile they cast a Black man who looks NOTHING like her to play her actual brother. The irony is wild. I couldn’t remember if this was the episode where we find out Nick is a teacher or not, but the second I saw your face I was like… oh no. Because if you're already furious about what happened with Brooke, wait until you find out this man is also a HIGH SCHOOL TEACHER. Like how do the writers keep taking a weird storyline and somehow make it even weirder?? And I hate how these shows always put the blame on the girls because “they lied about their age.” Like okay… but Cooper and Nick are grown men. Are we seriously saying they looked at Rachel and Brooke and couldn’t tell they were literal high school girls?? Be serious.

mind you this show used to be about basketball...😭 i honestly forgot how bad this was with derek bc i actually keep checking my windows, feels like a legit horror movie. as much as i really don't like peyton, i feel so bad for her like 2 moms dead and have a psycho stalker "brother" like damn. but i really think that hilarie and "dereks" actor deserved an award for how good they acted bc omg. dereks acting performance actually made feel sick to my stomach and scared. so prop to him. and sorry i keep going but that whole pro-life stuff is dumb asf, like who in their right mind thinks its ok to tell others what to do with THEIR bodies and when everyone thought it was brooke, not one person asked her what she wanted to do. and everyone is js pissing me off i can't lie especially with that limo crash like im over it now js tell me what happened under there (i genuinely don't remember anything from this show, so much goes on) but anyway sorry i wrote so much js needed to get it off my chest 🙏

It is crazy that Lucas went out with Brooke IMMEDIATELY after being rejected by Peyton who just came out of a relationship but context is important. Everyone knew Nathan was full if shit at the time and they were on and of and he treated her so bad and cheated on her constantly so Lucas still chasing her while she was in the relationship makes sense. And honestly if he was a woman and was rejected and then went out with someone who was actively and constantly showing that they wanted to be with him then we would be celebrating like yeah queen go where you're actually wanted. It pisses me off that Lucas is so fucking trash because I see where he's coming from but its like...can you fucking not????? Why all the cheating and nonsense when you could've either just waited a little bit for Peyton to be ready or move on like you said you were gonna and then not cheat on Brooke. Its like he made the worst decision at every turn and then they tried to convince us he was the sensitive nice guy like we can't see his actions unfolding right in front of us 💀
