I think Davina really just cares about what people have done to her specifically I mean we didn’t know tim like that but she did and he did many other things to her which is why she hates him but I think she overlooks kol because he’s nice to her lol .And also yea in the present day Davina likely hadn’t even seen everything bad Kol has done just heard stories like she said so maybe that’s apart of it.

Honestly I do really like Lucian as a character/villain I hate him but I think he’s well written and entertaining to watch

Also you asked what Elijah did to Lucien but if you recall it was Elijah who forced that compulsion on him tbh it’s Elijah that all of them (aurora, Tristan, Lucien) hate the most but they all seem to take it out on Klaus not that they have no reason to but most of this is Elijah’s fault if you really think about it 😂

It’s funny people get so angry with kol in episode 3x17 before they find out why he’s acting out like this, but even if he wasn’t cursed like the most of his anger was him towards Finn, the person who literally murdered him even if he wasn’t cursed I think him not caring about what’s happening to Finn is justified lol. Also kol just doesn’t catch a break in his witch body he gets cursed to die then he comes back and is immediately cursed again like I guess he deserves it objectively but as a character I/we like who’s on the side of the main characters it just sucks for him

Fun fact kinda: the actor for Finn (Caspar Zafar) had retired from acting around this time but the storyline for the character of Finn was still pretty unresolved as he was just left in the necklace in mid season 2. So as a favor to the crew/the show he came back for some episodes to wrap up Finn’s character arc. He did a few flashbacks in the first half of the season then came back from episodes 15-17 as a mini arc to end it all (and in the process show what upgraded Lucien can do to an original) I think it was done very well and his death scene is I think one of the best scenes at least in this season

Girl, when I tell you I took off work for today’s reaction, next week AND the week after. The rest of Season 3 is a MOVIE. I’m not waiting until after work to watch this. I’m not gonna lie, I was a little let down by the Lucien reveal because it felt so random, but I heard it was originally supposed to be Aurora, but the actress got another role so they had to change it. I don’t know, maybe I’m biased because I love Aurora’s character, but it definitely felt like they were building her up to be the season’s big bad and not Lucien. I really liked Elijah and Finn’s conversation though. And I never said Finn’s anger wasn’t justified. If somebody left me in a box for 900 years, I’d be pissed too. But like you like I really didn't care about Finn. I also didn't care if he live or die. I did like the growth between all three brothers. Last season we was all trying to kill each other. But Finn literally got bite because he was trying to protect Elijah and after Finn tried to kill Klaus and Hope daughter multiple times like Klaus STILL being willing to save him after is exactly why I love this family. They all really do love each other. RIP Finn. I’m SO tired of these dead witches being obsessed with Davina over something she did in season one. She didn’t want to die so y’all could get more power. GET OVER IT. And Aurora and Klaus will forever be a MISS OPPORTUNITY. When Aurora said “because I would feel nothing” and laughed in Klaus’s face??? THAT’S MY GIRL. Klaus really thought he still had that hold over her and she basically said, “Yeah… no.” I love her. And I KNOW you saw that ending and immediately thought of me. You were probably like, “Kierra is gonna love this.” And you were RIGHT.

I don't love the weird plot hole of Aurora shoving cami past the threshold of a place she isn't invited into and it making her bleed and whatnot. Anytime not being invited in is brought up throughout the series there is a barrier that can't be crossed. It just didn't make any sense. If you could enter a place that you aren't invited into and it just causes pain then why wouldn't the originals go wherever they want, kill the person who owns the place and move on?
