i may be the only one who thinks this but i didn’t like rachel & brooke’s friendship at all 😫 yes, rachel did a couple good things for brooke but i saw more harm than good in their friendship.

About the first episode I have no words about the Nathan storyline but about Peyton and Derek I wished we kept that storyline was longer and he was a recurring character that at lesser showed up every season for at least 4-8 episodes. And I really liked how Brooke and Lucas ended this episode as just friends and that is how it remains for the rest of the series.

When Brooke mentioned the dead moms made me so freaking upset at her and she is my favorite character in this whole show because my mom did die when I was 9 and while I didn’t have a full immediate reaction (it showed up 2 months later) I was still very upset that she made that “joke” because dying as a joke is never ok especially when your mad at someone and want to hurt someone’s feelings. WTH also I forgot how stressful this show is

Me after episode 8: NOOOOOOOOOOOO WHYYYYYY?!?!?! 😭🥺🤧 I don’t care how much heat I get when I say I’m ten toes down for Brucas. Been on this side since their first date in season 1 and haven’t/wont leave it either. Yes they both (more so Lucas) have done things they shouldn’t have in terms of their relationship, but I will always say they look better and have more fun together than Lucas and Peyton. Episode 8 really had me thinking they were gonna be back but I guess not. 😪 Now I’m officially wiping my hands with Lucas. I BEEN DONE with Peyton. And now that they’re together, I just can’t support their relationship when from the very beginning it’s been built on lies and betrayal. And for it to happen now, like you said Jesly I don’t even feel anything when they’re on screen. Maybe if they were together in season 2, but now HELL NO!! And for the fact that Brucas would’ve been endgame in the show had they not separated in real life hurts me too. Obviously Chad fucked up by allegedly cheating on Sophia not denying that, but it still sucks that it meant they had to change the end of the relationship in the show. But if they were gonna have him be with Peyton, WHY THE HELL DOES IT HAVE TO BE BECAUSE THEY KISSED BEHIND BROOKE’S BACK AGAIN?!?! Y’all can’t come up with anything else? And this time, Lucas didn’t even like it. It just makes us not like Peyton more cause she’s being a terrible friend. 😤😮‍💨 Sorry guys. Very passionate here lol 😂. Moral of the story, I don’t like either of them anymore and whatever happens in their relationship, it won’t bother me. Imma just be sitting like Jesly unbothered and uninterested.

When I first watched this show i binged so much of it in a row. I hated brooke so much in these episodes. Btw high-school basketball games are lower scoring cos their shorter length and games are more physical typically as well. I actually kinda like Peyton and lucas when they get past all the brooke stuff. I love that dan was willing to take the fall for Nathan. This felt like a finale

Episode 9 was sooooo good. I loved how Skills and Lucas ICED OUT Nathan in the first half and were doing the carry job. The Brooke and Peyton fighting in the car was kinda crazy. I was on Brooke’s side until I heard her mention Peyton’s mothers. Even I wouldn’t cross that line. Them in the hospital arguing with that nurse to get Haley to a doctor was hilarious and a great friend move. I laughed at Rachel: BITCH, Brooke: WHORE, Peyton: SLUT, Bevin: thank you! 🤣🤣🤣🤣 They fooled us with the beginning audio it was actually the game from when Dan sold and was being selfish and they lost. I loved that Lucas got the final shot. Then Brooke asked Lucas who he wanted next to him. sigh 😔 and we know who he chose 😒 whatever 😑 anyways. 😂 Dan crying tears of joy then having the realization they’re in trouble was me too. I was happy then I was like OH SHIT, we’re still fucked. Karen driving Deb to rehab had me laughing. I was screaming at the screen talkin about: AAAAAHHHH HAAAA!!! You maaaad. Get help! 🤣🤣🤣 Lemme chill out lol. Lucas wishing Keith was there. I was like BITCH ME TOO!!!! Dan feeling the regret more and more as he sees all the accomplishments his sons are getting, his brother isn’t here for them either. Daunte running over Haley had me almost in tears. Nathan saying baby was too much for me too Jesly. I would’ve beat the shit outta his lifeless body too. I don’t think Nathan killed him either but W Dan for taking the fall. Then Lucas and his heart attack. GOD THIS SHOW HATES ME!!!! 😭😭😭

This is random but I was listening to drama queen podcast and it's turns out the girl who play 'gigi' pull a mila kunis and lied about her age. She was like thirteen/fourteen when she first joined the series. I always thought she look super young compared to everyone else but I just thought that she had a baby face. Like the guy who play Mouth is literally ten years older than her.

I love Haley, but part of me feels like she’s dragging this Rachel thing. Like, y’all barely interacted last season until suddenly Rachel is inviting everybody to her cabin and Naley is inviting her to their wedding. I get Haley being mad that Rachel flirted with Nathan and ruined their wedding day, but this whole rivalry feels forced, especially since it lasted like four episodes before Rachel moved on. And Rachel barely even says anything back, so half the time it feels one-sided. Also Karen and Dan just feels like the writers are spitting in the face of the actor who played Keith. And don’t jump me for this, but I could’ve gotten behind Dan and Karen if he hadn’t literally killed Keith AND she wasn’t pregnant with Keith’s baby. I don’t mind the concept of them never really getting over each other despite everything they’ve done to each other, but at this point? Too much has happened. And Haley jumping in front of Nathan while she was pregnant is CRAZY. I swear I hate the man who wrote this show because why would you have a soon-to-be mother jump in front of a speeding car so her husband doesn’t get hit? I feel like if you watched this as a teenager, you probably thought it was goals like “OMG, she jumped in front of a car for her man, that’s how much she loves him!” But watching it as an adult, I’m like girl… WHAT ARE YOU DOING? And I don’t even want to call her selfish because I know she was thinking about Nathan, but did she think about HERSELF or the BABY? Because Daunte wasn’t even aiming for Haley. He was aiming for Nathan. Haley pulled Nathan out of the way, and once Daunte started driving, he clearly wasn’t stopping or caring who he hit. The whole thing was just insane. And YES about Brooke. This is definitely around the point where the writers start trying to turn the fans against Brooke. But look, go ahead and pray somebody requests One Tree Hill in September because otherwise you’re gonna have to wait until October. I’m pretty sure that bullshit Brooke episode is the one right after the last episode we watched for the month too.

With the way these cliffhangers be ending, the URGE I have to watch another episode kicks in! 😭🤣 Like bro I can’t wait a week! 😩 Like I know I can, like I know I’m not obligated to only watch once a week. But I’d feel guilty cause we started this journey together last November. I’m not gonna lie during the early bits of season 1, I watched a few episodes ahead of you but since then I’ve finished every season with you. And we’re basically halfway through the show now. We’ll probably be done around this time next year. It just kills me every time they leave it on a cliffhanger, I gotta stay strong for 7 days and not watch an episode early.

I will always hate Leyton together bc it feels soooo forced, idk how to explain it so i hope that makes sense. And with Brooke, the comment she made about Peyton’s moms was so wrong. Like, don’t get me wrong, I love my girl Brooke down, but that was fucked up bc my mom also passed, and using it against someone is just so rude and disrespectful. But besides all that, I still can’t stand Peyton, sorryyy. But I’m so sad we won’t get this next month bc where you would leave off at the end of august, it starts getting good again ☹️. last thing, instead of all this Lucas and Peyton screen time we needed more of Bevin and Skills 🙏

Girl I'm just gonna say this... EP. 14 and 15 they threw a stupid storyline in there for Brooke's character to make her "EVEN" with Peyton that some people hate her for... I was upset at first but then I have to remember we have this fuck ass writer

Ok, for Haley’s hair in that ep, I remember reading about this a whileeee back so I don’t remember everything. But she had her hair done a specific way. And right before they were supposed to film, the awful creator threw a huge fit and made her take them out and there was no time to do something else with her hair.

Honestly, when it comes to Leyton, I never really hated them as a couple but they definitely weren’t my favorite. Feel like I’m going to get shit for that but I don’t give a fuck. My #1 will always be Naley. Taking away the love triangle aspect, they had a lot of cute moments together. Watching them finally become a couple from the first time I watched to now, I can’t help but smile a bit. I do wish their love story was much more epic and less toxic and messy af though. I will say when it comes to High School Brooke when I watched the first time, I couldn’t stand her. Had nothing to do with the love triangle at all and while I do feel Brooke shouldn’t have gotten involved with Lucas, she did not deserve what happened to her. To me, she came across as such a mean party girl who only cared about herself. From rewatching, she has definitely grown on me quite a bit but she still annoys the hell out of me. Making that dead mom joke was so fucked up. I don’t care how pissed off she is at Peyton and how much she wanted to hurt her, she should have never crossed that line to begin with. That being said when it comes to future seasons though, I love Brooke and her character development!
