There were SO many spoilers in those edits from the rest of the series and TVD. Favorite to least favorite ships: Kolvina, Marbekah, Klaurora, Klayley, Jayley, Klenevieve, Jaiden, Gilijah, Haylijah, Marcille, and Klamille. As much as I HATE Camille, I can admit Leah didn't deserve the way some fans treated her. I'm not making excuses for that behavior, but the Mikaelsons were established characters when TO started. Klaus, Elijah, and Rebekah already had ships, and fans even had Kol crackships. So I understand why some people struggled with having those ships replaced. Marcel, Davina, and Hayley also got hate initially, and some fans eventually grew to love them. I guess that never happened with Cami for some people. I personally love Klaus with Aurora, Genevieve, Hayley, etc., so I was open to different ships. But Cami just wasn't a good character or love interest for me. Plus, I feel like the writers weren't even sure at first if Cami was supposed to be with Marcel or Klaus. Once they committed to Klamille, it felt forced. Especially because Klaus having a love interest in Seasons 1 and 2 didn't make much sense with everything he was dealing with. Then in Season 3, when he can finally breathe and actually live a little, it's too late. We're three seasons in—why should I care about this pairing now? And when you look at how heavily we STILL got Hayley with Jackson or Elijah throughout Seasons 1–3, Elijah and Gia, Marcel and Rebekah, and Kol and Davina despite everything the characters were dealing with, at a certain point you have to ask yourself: were the writers really trying THAT hard to create a love story for Klaus and Cami? Especially when Klaus was still hooking up with Genevieve and Aurora while dealing with everything else happening in the series. It just made Klamille feel even more unnecessary to me because if they was willing to write romance for the rest of characters including Klaus then like why not Klaus and Camille?

Keep in mind what Hayley did in tvd (don't mention it because of spoilers) but yeah Hayley was hated when we first met her.
