I love how much you recognize the acting and the realness of the show. It’s one of the many reasons this show did so good. It doesn’t feel like the actors are reading a script it feels genuine which we don’t see often in shows anymore I feel like. I also feel like the show gives me so much y2k vibes and aesthetics I kept thinking wow this reminds of H2o and beachy vibes from shows back then.

Arwen (Over) Reacts

This show is so good! The acting is so real, and the gen z things don't feel forced. Also, two fun facts for you. The actor who plays Joe is married to the actress who plays Peyton in OTH. And the dude who plays Connor is the son of Mark Ruffalo.

@29:00 Canada Day (July 1st) is indeed like American Independence Day, but more laid back.

Aysia Gilbert

I think the reason why the acting feels like real is because Megan Park (aka Grace Bowmen character fromSecret Life of an American Teenager) said has experince in a poorly written teen drama show and want to. make sure that it felt like a teen would move or say these things. I also believe her ex husband an actor who also had experience in teen drama world (OTH)

Breana Lockett

Yea, she was married to the actor who played Chris Keller on OTH

SULE

When she said "He is my only blood relative." She was referring to Connor as they are twins. They are adopted.

Adrianaaa🫶🏻

So just a heads up no one in the island said Jordan was mean that’s the assumption the twins lived with their entire lives because of their father don’t know if anyone cleared that up for you but yeah

Imogen Foster

They’re both adopted, she was referring to Conor. They got adopted together bc they’re twins :)
