actually technically hope is a vampire too she just has to die for it to be activated bc the blood is in her already and that’s you become a vampire by dying with it in your system

And for the werewolf side of things she would have to kill a human being in order to trigger her wolf side, so for right now she is just a powerful witch in the milkeason family

so Hope is actually a trybrid, she is a witch, if she kills someone and triggers the curse she'll be a werewolf and she has vampire blood in her from Klaus so if she dies she'll become a vampire (cause you have to die with vamp blood in your system and then feed to become one) which is so cool and there's a show about her that I really wish you'd watch after the originals if others agree. It's called Legacies, it's actually about the school they talked about for kids with magic and stuff, they expand on the creatures and have more than just vamps, wolfs and witches, it's so cool! It was sadly cancelled so the ending is not great but I think it's worth it to watch, I know some people disagree though. would love to know your thoughts, love the reactions :)

So just to clarify, after this season, you're holding off on Season 5 until you catch up with the Mikaelson episodes of TVD? Also, I do like Freya and Keelin! I was just saying that even if I didn't, as a straight woman, I don't think it's my place to criticize their representation. My job is to be an ally. And yes, Sofya is a vampire! I guess while the Hollow was possessing her, she could still use her witch powers. She's actually the same woman from last season selling the last White Oak bullet! Her hair was blonde then and brownish now, so a lot of people don't recognize her. And that wasn't Davina's voice, although it sounded like her. It's funny you thought it was Davina, only for her to appear in the next episode. Davina isn't bad. She's still our Davina, but remember, she hates Klaus and couldn't care less if he lives or dies. She just needed to kill an immortal to trap the Hollow. I LOVE Marcel and Hope! He saved her the day she was born and saved her again today. Obviously, Marcel would never hurt her, but why wasn't Klaus watching his child? Hope was just freely roaming around and found a man trapped in the dungeon! Imagine if it had been someone who actually wanted to hurt her. And I hated Hayley saying Davina "still blames the Mikaelsons." Like, GIRL, the Mikaelsons literally sacrificed her! Of course she's still angry! That's not some petty grudge. Watching Elijah's character assassination is hilarious. I still love him because of earlier seasons, but he's definitely my least favorite now. Notice how he promised Marcel the weapon that could kill him, then took it home anyway? He only handed it over because Hayley asked! Lastly, I loved Marcel talking to Davina. I'll always defend Marcel wanting revenge for her death. I love the Mikaelsons, so I'm glad he failed to kill them, but I was never mad at him for going after them. His anger was completely justified.

The Hollow being a favored villain is rare 😯; most fans find the concept less compelling than earlier villains. This steems because The Vampire Diaries leans heavily on the “monster without a goal beyond destruction” model for a lot of seasons. The Hollow fits this archetype, portrayed as a being that desires only ruin. By contrast, The Originals, seasons 1 through 3, presented supernatural figures—witches, vampires, werewolves, humans—competing for their city, communities, or revenge in a chess-like pattern of strategy and betrayal, which feels more mature than TVD or Legacies. Many viewers regard these villains as more engaging because their motives are somewhat understandable. I do not dislike The hollow type of villain, but after seven seasons of The Vampire Diaries using it excessively, applying it to The Originals feels irritating for many in the fandom, especially since it was absent for three seasons. It is like reheating a pizza for the 100th time, it no longer tastes good.

I just think it's insane that Keelin would catch feelings for Freya. Like this woman kidnapped you and tortured you???? But also as a bi black woman I do love a gay love story. I feel if I can enjoy a toxic straight love story then I can enjoy this
