take it unko slow

updated  🐌

I always wonder all the time, when I cramped in the ideers, instead of doing the variant style, I put myself at edge and work on big canvas, and slow things down further than it is.

Ofcourse, finalize version prolly not gonna be like what I myself would imagine what it'll be, as I thought, which also further down the drain of me spiraling into pushing out more stuff with less consumption of time, with them not properly finished instead.

As much as I like to show sketches as a progress of me doing things, its also the downfall of showing myself always on the greyside of things of being productive. Its best for me to stay low, it'll be done without a warning of being exist that it was being work on, which is better for most of the case. But also the thought of anxiety risen, people think Im just gone and ded for not doing stuff.

Maybe you should try putting notes on your sketches for what you would like to achieve for your drawings, that way even if you have to come back to an unfinished or difficult work you can have some idea of what you were imagining at the time you wanted to draw it. Maybe it will help with the drawings that are difficult, while the ones that come "naturally" or easily you can continue without feeling too lost when you feel like returning to finish them. If you want to give us some updates but would rather not share the sketches (if you're unhappy with posting them when they're unfinished), then you don't have to post a drawing to do so. A simple "to do list" or a list of "things I want to draw at the moment" update instead might be a better option so you can let us know you're still active, and maybe you can ease your anxiety by doing so. I know I've said in the past that I'd like to see the sketches and currently unfinished work, but that's only my personal philosophy that artists shouldn't be unhappy with a drawing to the point of not posting. But if doing so makes you uncomfortable, then by all means you can wait until you are comfortable posting it, whether that is a clean lineart or until it's a finished drawing. This is your platform for uploading, so if you want to change something so it is easier on you, please do so!

to be honest i like seing your sketches and as a artist wanabee like myself i try to take notes on how you make stuff. As i always wished since long time a stream would be perfect. but If you feel not comfortable about it i can understand. Thanks for the hard work as usual. Btw you think about make a discord ?
