The way every turn of this movie hit. When I watched the first time, I took the next few days to figure out if I even liked it 😂 SO weird and unsettling, everything was gorgeous.

SO FREAKING EXCITED TO WATCH THIS AGAIN WITH U - this movie is one of my absolute favorites from last year!!!

Enjoyed that wild ride with you. Hah. Love it or hate it (I liked it, though it took me a minute to work that out), you can't say that Emerald Fennell makes boring films. I look forward to seeing what she does next, and if you haven't seen her first feature I highly recommend it as well, just for your own viewing.

Emerald is apparently doing the next adaptation of Wuthering Heights which, just going off Saltburn, makes me think she'll be the first person to make that whole mess of a relationship interesting to me, lol. I've seen Promising Young Woman, and there was a *lot* about it I really enjoyed while there were a couple aspects I personally would have preferred to seen done differently--going farther with some aspects but easier in others. Her creative glow up to Saltburn was absolutely next level though, I honestly don't have any notes and watching her interviews about it are fascinating.

Oh I *love* when filmmakers attempt to create something like this, and when they pull it off THIS well I'm just in awe. I had to sort out thoughts and feelings afterwards too, but I knew I loved whatever the fuck it was I just watched, lol.

Great watch along. I am so glad you did this one.

Leslie

I was hoping you would do this one, I’m going to watch ASAP! Very excited, you’ve dropped several gems lately, thank you.

Vanessa Love

What a wonderful Christmas surprise.

Lilah Kane

Not suuuuure this was a good Christmas movie to watch... Saltburn was the most disturbing movie I have ever watched... And I have no words actually. Does not mean it was not good, but wow.

Leslie

This is the second time I’ve watched it, a lot of people thought Oliver was just after Saltburn, and right after he says “was I in love with him” I’m like yes, absolutely, before I saw anything else, I think it was a case of if I can’t have you……….the movie went off the rails I loved it, Felix and all his “friends,” every summer until they want more from him, he picked the wrong one.
