I'm an utter master of predicting stories. Always correct. Never wrong. My instincts are sharply crafted to the finest of points. I am a plot god. Stop laughing.

*I've since realized after this finale that the season feels like part one of arc, versus season one's design as a story unto itself--meaning this could be better compared to the first half of season one in terms of impact, character development, etc. It'll be interesting to rewatch it with better calibrated expectations...........but this also means that this arc hasn't reached it's full devastating potential yet. I remain terrified.

**There's no intro talk to the first episode due to mic issues, but suffice to say: this show makes me so anxious that I couldn't even fully rewatch season one in preparation, but had to recap instead. Very few stories have impacted me to this insane degree, and here I am back for more. <3

Yana

yayyy can't wait to watch it!!☺️❤️

llamaboss3526

so im only on episode 1 at the moment but i noticed the captions your using is for the English dub if im not mistaken.

Lisa Wilson

The cliffhangers!!! They know what they do to us!

Ana

I've been hyperfixating on Weak Hero 2 ever since it came out this reaction will HEAL me actually! They somehow made it gayer. Toxic yaoi enjoyers (myself) are having a blast

Once_upona_fae

Thank so much for the reaction. Also as I mentioned before there are no spoilers in intro you can watch it 1-4 is same they change it from 5-8. Please watch both. From what I’ve seen kdramas dont have spoilers in there openings or ending. Also your watching subs for English dubs. And they are missing so much heart of the story, please switch to korean subs in the future eps

yeah, the three episodes have the english dub cc, fortunately it's not too bad for this series at least but hopefully we get the actual subtitles in the coming episodes

mirka

sobs, my bakugotak on screen.... still don't know how to feel about the screenwriters giving some things to other characters than in the original but all in all, i really love this second season too. what a wild episode to cut off on though, have fun with that cliffhanger :D

Yana

I love how one of the main characteristics of people in this fandom is the obsession we all have with Jihoon's eyes.. I really can't get over his acting in this show

Gratzie

Im so happy this is out!! Can't wait for your reaction to the rest of the season!

Chris

It was a surprising good show (season 1) since I went into not knowing how they were going to approach this. So exciting you are reacting to season 2! yay!

Szen

so glad you watched till episode 3 cause baku my sunshine

Emma

So a fun fact (because we desperately nneed some fun after all that): Baku's actor played Suho's actors time travelling son in a drama called Twinkling watermelon and they have excellent chemistry. I hope we get to see them on screen together at some point!

Gratzie

Is it truly a weak hero class experience if you're not crying with your head in your hands repeatedly? I think not. This show freaking destroyed me emotionally oh god, especially episode 4 and 5. Despite this, I still can't wait for the next episodes reactions!

Lisa Kleine

Ep 4&5: And this is the first time that Sieun cries in this season T.T It always makes me tear up too and absolutely made me cry the first time watching. Finally someone told him it wasn't his fault. Gods... T.T While his mom is trying, she does not actually talk to her son, she mostly talks at him. Which is better than ignoring your son altogether, I guess, but putting her own incompetence onto his shoulders and making him feel even more guilty.... yeah. Why are there only shitty adults in this show? Suho really does haunt the narrative. The writers/director really outdid themselves with that. It's so tragic and so beautiful. ♥ Fun fact: someone on tumblr said Suho really went to a coma and travelled through all the different dimensions to collect the new friends for Sieun. As the actor did shows with all of them somehow. Baku in Twinkling Watermelon, Gotak in Taxi Driver and Seo-Juntae in Twenty- five Twenty-one. :D As the actors of Suho and Sieun have amazing chemistry as well, maybe he was like: I made some friends you need to meet, and invited them all for the cast :D Also, as you asked for the actors ages: Sieun (Park Ji Hoon): 26 (his birthday was two days ago 🎉) Suho (Choi Hyun Wook): 23 Baku (Ryeo Un): 26 Gotak (Lee Min Jae): 25 Seo-Juntae (Choi Min Jeong): 22 Na Baek-jin (Bae Na Ra): 34 Geum Seong-je (Lee Jun Young): 28 Thank you so much for the great, emotional reactions! ♥♥♥

Nanathathalielie

I fell in love with this show all over again while watching season 2. Can't wait to see the rest of your reactions!

Beomseok's dad said he was going to send him to the Philippines

Another fun fact, the exceptionally cute kid playing young Baku also play's the younger version of ryeoun's (Baku) character in twinkling watermelon. I thought he looked familiar so I had to go and check 😆

Yana

lmao this is so funny, not only did you manage to come up with a ship I've never even thought of before (sieun/gotak), but you're also not shipping some of the most popular ships in the fandom currently (baku/baekjin and gotak/juntae). I think what made it even funnier is you acknowledging that other people probably do ship them😆

Gratzie

SOFTEN THE BLOW IS CRAZY 😭 omg I was so happy to rewatch this season with you, and I can't wait for your rerecord of the season one finale! I agree 100% with what you said about this season. While it doesnt reach the same heights/impact as season one did, I am still very happy with this season. Now we need season three urgently. confession and marriage for shse is mandatory.

Ana

Okay after watching ALL the videos: I agree that this season wasn't as amazing as the first one. It lacked the pacing and character development of S1, and I kinda wanna blame it on Netflix. Season one was just the prequel, but somehow they made the main story (webtoon wise) only 8 episodes as well when it clearly should've been longer. Still an incredible season and I adore all the chosen actors too!! LETS TALK QUEER NOW: You'll soon find out many people enjoy pairing Seongje with Sieun, Gotak with Juntae, all sorts of ships. I personally have fallen deeply in love with Baekjin and Baku. Friends to enemies to lovers (??) It was a ride every time they were on screen. Baekjin was an orphan at the place he donated to. He was lonely and Baku was the only person he loved. I wrote a 12k one shot on ao3 about him man, I AM SERIOUS about him. Suho waking up was all I needed to be happy. If they don't dare give us s3, at least we know they'll be okay. Thank you for this!! Love youu

Yana

"that'll get him killed.. he loses, he's dead" 😭😭

Emma

Sieun/gotak is certainly an… interesting idea that I’ve at least never seen before. I'll take a good angsty (unrequited) Baku/baekjin but I'm a Baku/gotak truther at heart. Which funnily enough is something that didn’t even get mentioned 😅

Yana

I know most people would argue that Baekjin deserved what he got, but after watching D.P. I really can't handle seeing Bae Nara in pain 😭

jess

you may have heard about this by now, but on may 1st the whole cast had like an event and the director for whc literally said that sieun and suho are in love and that suho was sieun's first love! park jihoon (sieun's actor) said that it felt like first love too. it wasnt even implied they outright said it lmaoo. the internet was in shambles for a while after

Once_upona_fae

The difference between Suho and Baku? Baku fought to protect the entire school. But Suho? Suho fought for Si-eun. Every moment, every battle—it was always for him.» WHC director😭 Please watch their interviews the director just outright said that sieun and suho were in love.

Yana
>>175925947

yeah, I second this. they did a whole panel with both the class 1 and class 2 cast and it was so fun!

WorldWideLove2000

If yall haven't watched At a Distance Spring is Green, yall really should. Park Jihoon (Sieun's actor) plays one of the main characters. That series introduced me to Park Jihoon and his incredible acting. That show also had me in shambles

Pratiksha Majee

So the fun fact. The actor playing Baku has played another role in Twinkling Watermelon with the actor of Suho where the actor of Baku was the son and actor of Suho was the father and also the younger child actor for Baku was also the child actor for the role Baku's actor played in Twinkling Watermelon. So people say that father sent his son to protect sieun while he was in a coma!
