AMERICA COULD NEVER | The Untamed OST w/ Lyrics Pt. 2

It is hard not to cry when listening to this whole soundtrack. The songs really help on filling those gaps one could have after watching the series, related to the characters depht or their story in general. The song at the very end really reminded me of an anime opening ✨ somehow I missed it when listening to the Untamed playlist! What a joy to find a new track to cry to 😂

So I spent a lot of time staring at your board with EGGS and all the underlines. Yanlis song is amazing. It makes me cry too. Huaisong can chase chickens AND be a mastermind. He can be both! HOLY SHIT the last song was so good. I've never heard that one. And music videos next?! YAY!

The Nie brothers song is one of (if not the) my favorites. I even had it as a ring tone for awile~ and the movie will give more insight to Huaisangs character 😄

Me: *opens the video and realises Yanli's song is the first* Ah shit here we go again ...

I love your AU take on YanLi's song. I love each one of these songs... It adds so much depth to the story. I don't think I'll ever move on from The Untamed. ANd I already watched WoH and loved it with every cell in my body, so that's saying a lot. I hope you keep enjoying everything TU has to offer in terms of fanart, music, and (oh my god, you will never be ready for this one) fics. I am dying to see your reactions to the novel and whatever fic you read in the future!! I hope you're having beautiful days, Brittany!!

hahah I was looking at EGGS for too long lol. Love all these songs, Will you be doing a reaction video that includes the English version of Wu Ji?

Me, half an hour ago: I should go to bed, I have to get up in six hours for work... let me check my mails and then shut down my phone. And here I am, crying... :D You're so right, most western soundtracks are just putting conventional songs into a mix for their movie / tv show while here we have really deep character and story driven songs that were actually written for the show, additionally. Because these songs, except for the WangXian one, are not used in the show, as far as I know and I also think that's awesome, creative and inspiring. On the top of my head I only remember RWBY doing kind of the same thing for their season soundtracks, in western media. Can't wait for the Fatal Journey reaction, I have sooo many feelz about it. Really looking forward to what you'll think about it. :) ♥

I was going to comment exactly this! Fatal Journey should make it much easier to see how/why chicken chasing Huaisang became mastermind Huaisang.

YanLi and Jin ZiXuan's song together rudely reminded me of the fact that the name of YanLi literally means "hating separation" yet she experienced too many separations...
