Finish this series, look me in the eye, and tell me you didn't kinda just watch a guy and his alternate personality fall in love.

Comments

abigail

when are you putting this on goggle docks??

Ezekiel

finally finished this and it was so fun! didn't expect to cry so much at the end lol

Kansam

oh MAN gotta binge-watch this now after putting it off for a while then return

Lilah Kane

Soooo, how are you doing? (In Joey's voice) 😁

Lilah Kane

Did not want to spoil it to you because... Can you even ship... that kind of thing. Can you? Don't know. But oh BOY the chemistry! We were robbed I tell you. ROBBED! And also not robbed... So confusing. Sorry about the ramble. 🤣

Jennifer D

Oh boy I think I was the one who first put this on your Tumblr radar Brittany *hides face in hands*. I also had only watched the trailers, so was equally surprised by the reveal and not sure how you’d feel when you found out. I take full blame for not doing my research! But regardless I am enjoying the ride (also have only watched up to Episode 2) and weirdly am still here for shipping them....together? But they already are? Oof. Off to watch your reactions now *laughs nervously*

Oh if the writers thought something like this was gonna keep me from shipping it then I've got news 👀

Lilah Kane

Also, could they just stop beating the sweet boy or I will start throw some bunches at the writers, hmph...

Lilah Kane

Not giving any spoilers, but if we have luck, the future episodes might give enough Gaywatch stuff. I guess when the story unfolds to us you can always edit the episodes later if needed. Also, I think after episode four you can watch the badass opening to the series. It is one of a kind. Recommend it. 😁😎 But boy this series is sooooo good.

madginger13

Lol this show is so chaotic in the best way.

Lilah Kane

Episode 3... Well, that just happened. Knew you would like it. 😁

Lilah Kane

BTW, things turn even worse (read better) as the story goes on so keep at it! 🤐😉

Lilah Kane

OMG! I am on episode ten and I wish I could talk to you what has been happening! I... just watch it! And you might actually need to... maybe edit it to reactions also on some point. It depends, but I am SO sure you will go bonkers later because *screams in none spoiler GAH!* ++ Hope you two are getting better. These times suck. ❣

Andjela

btw will you continue this reaction too

mirka

Me, watching episode 5 reaction: :DDD Brittany: Fuck off, go to sleep Me, looks at the clock: Clock: 1:04am Me: Fine. Also, I really really hope the post gets enough likes! I got curious and went snooping on other posts but it seems like even "regular" series posts sometimes have trouble breaking the 40 likes mark but I will keep my fingers crossed 👀🤞

Silver

I have a deep, abiding need to see your reaction to the rest of this series. I hope you get enough likes to continue.

Sophisticated Lady

I'm really enjoying your reactions to this series, and Guardian ofc. So I really hope you'll continue with this one because not everything appeals to me, anything gory or super violent I won't be able to watch with you. Also, I might not check my email for a few days so I didn't know that you had posted a new episode until just now because it doesn't come up as most recent post on your time line. so maybe people are not seeing that you have added reactions.

Chris

Just made it through ep 4 with you. This series is fun so far! Once we found out that his mom is not his biological mom, and we found out K donated all his money to that children's place for 'unknown reasons': I feel that there must have been some tragic backstory/event/connection in his past when he was a kid that is causing his dual personalities. At least I hope they explain it since that would make some good drama. But even if they don't, just watching them try to live together is fun. K is crazy but he is clearly the character with the higher moral ground of the two: he doesn't take bribes and pushes his other half to be better.

I make sure to have Patreon notify you guys when I add a new episode to this masterpost, did you not get notified? If there's an issue with the notifications then I'll change how I release After Darks, no worries. <3

Kish

How did I not know you were reacting to this?! Seriously, my attention span has been nil for the last few months, I keep missing stuff 😭 Anyways, I started this show when it first aired (because Lee Dongwook is everything in our household. Seriously, even my Dad told me about the show) but stopped a few episodes after (I dont even remember why tbh hahaha). But I enjoyed (re)watching these episodes with you. These reactions are a gift, I’m not even kidding 😭

Eve Swayze

OMG!!! I cannot wait to watch this after work 😍😍😍

Lilah Kane

- Watches link with grabby hands -

Nez

Love these reactions, especially love how the fact that K being an imaginary person still doesn't stop you from commenting on those two, makes me laugh everytime bc SAME!

Lisa Wilson

I don’t know how you stop in the middle of a series without finishing. Props to you. I would be ripping my hair out wanting to know how it ends. I hope you finish at some point. Even if you don’t post the reactions. This show is so good!

I've definitely been ripping my hair out! Between moving and my back acting up the opportunity for After Dark is nowhere near as frequent as I'd like. But the wait is totally worth it <3

Lilah Kane

Episode 7 is here. It has been torture to not spoil it for Brittany. 😁

Lilah Kane

And I am wrong? to think Andrei is hot?

Kiria

FYI they DO have bts for the series (including ep7) which can be easily found on YT😆

Lisa Wilson

Can we really blame them for falling for this adorable chaotic mess? There’s just something about him that makes him so cute and endearing. Dong-wook has such an insane acting range.

Shands Amba

I have finally just watched the first episode of this... and i am going straight into the second one. This Is Amazing!! I love it!!

Nez

Not gonna lie scary lollipop boss chick is kinda the love of my life in this series. Everytime she shows up on screen I am terrified but also completely mesmerized by her 👀👀 She and Lee Hee-Gyeom are taking up all my brain cells (I may or may not currently be thinking of a fic idea for these two & as well as one where the alter ego is actually another person)

Lilah Kane

It has been so exiting for Brittany get to those episodes that we couldn't tell her about and after them just yell, you see! You see?!?! 😁

mirka

You seemed slightly surprised to see Boss Yong in the bathroom ripping Jeong Yunho's throat out, but in the previous episode? I think? When she was in the interrogation room, she asked Huigyeom if she would see the person who killed Andrei and Huigyeom said yes, because she was going to be a witness in the case. So she was Getting Ready for that

Sophisticated Lady

it was so much fun to watch this show with you. It was so good, I'm definitely going to watch it again on my own. I'm looking forward to Killer and Healer.

CocoPop

I just saw they plan to make a second season for this

Shands Amba

i have fnally finished and... oh my gosh, I totally enjoyed it. You said something about consuming non-western media and how it (basically) hits different (I wish remember exactly which episode it was but over watched 3 episodes tonight to finish and my brain is spinning), and I 100% agree with you. Every Asian show I have watched over the last two years wows me in production, acting capabilities, plots, everything. The kind of storytelling that feels pretty unique because the west just does not have it in spades. Damn I am rambling. I gotta sleep, but this was amazing!

brittanydiamond

East Asia has a way of storytelling that is just so, so good. It's both compelling and goes to places Western media simply doesn't. Anime especially tries the most whacked out shit, but their hit/miss ratio for it is crazy high because they put more thought into it than if it was done in the West, where there's a real tendency towards "oh this is supposed to be fun/silly/weird and not Serious Art so we don't need to put much thought into it," like they don't realize yes, yes you CAN and it can come out AWESOME.

lizzy

just binged this and it was amazing! i need all the AUs right now..wish it was a more popular show!
