Have a movie you'd like me to see? Comment the title below, and next week I will randomly select a winner to watch in November for After Dark!*

(Right now this is a way to show some love for films since Gaywatch is so series heavy, but I imagine we'll branch out to 'first episode' submissions eventually.)

Rules:

-One title per person.

-Tier 4 patrons will have their title entered four times, Tier 3 entered three times, Tier 2 twice, Tier 1 once.

-Duplicate titles are fine.

-I'll react to it even if I've seen it before.

-I will only turn down a winner if I've seen it before and did not enjoy it, because that saves everyone's time and feelings.

-Canon, subtext only, queer characters with no love interest, anything goes.

-Total runtime must be 2 1/2 hours or less, but can come in any form. (So those short series with like 10 episodes that amount to an hour and a half of content, like Blueming or Tinted With You, are perfectly acceptable.)

-Submissions close on November 4th, when I will draw and announce the winner.

✨GOOD LUCK!!✨

*After Dark is a lowkey, low lighting, low makeup, completely uncut type of reaction I do at my own pace for series that otherwise wouldn't be a good fit for Youtube. After Dark series start as Patron exclusive for all tiers, and then open up to the public a few weeks after the series is finished and posted.

Mmh... MMHM.... All those months of pleading for YYM have erased all other movies in my head... :D Let's see... The Men from U.N.C.L.E

Eric G

Gameboys (2020): a cute Filipino BL that follows two 20-year-old guys that fall for each other over social media during the early pandemic. S1 is on Netflix as "Gameboys: Level-Up Edition". Episodes 1 to 6 only, to clear the length hurdle. (I considered including 7, but that would be super mean since it would be a huge cliffhanger.) There is also a spin-off series and a 2nd season! (S2 was also recut and came out as a movie.)

I wanna request this adult cartoon series called “helluva boss” Synopsis pulled from imdb: In Hell, imp Blitzø runs an assassin business targeting the world of the living, using a spell book borrowed from a prince of Hell. With employees Moxxie, Millie, and Loona, they attempt to survive each other while keeping business afloat. It’s queer, it’s vulgar, it’s hilarious and it’s surprisingly heartfelt sometimes All eps are on YouTube and it would take under 2 1/2 hrs to complete the first season (pilot ep - ep 7)

Once again I'm back with: Utsukushii Kare (My Beautiful Man)

100% second this! I don't think I'll ever forget Method.

Deenita Morton

How about the other "Yin yang master" I loved this one as well

Mad Hatter

I wonder if "Semantic Error" is eligible? It's a short k-drama that has 8 ep and would amount to around two hours, as would "You Make Me Dance". I would pick one of them if I got clarification. ("You Make Me Dance" also comes in movie format, totaling at 1h 47mins.) ("Color Rush" as well :))

brittanydiamond

I've seen Semantic Error and don't feel the need to rewatch it, haven't seen either of the other two, though!

Chris

Gunpowder Milkshake (Netflix). Makes my action queer heart soar. You gotta watch this even if alone <3 The women are so fuckin hot and badass.

Mad Hatter

Oh thank you! To be honest, I'd prefer to be the helping hand in introducing you to new shows, so it is lovely that you made it clear you've seen SE already! I'll keep in mind that you haven't seen the others for next time <3

bbibbibu

not a movie but the series “half bad: the bastard son and the devil himself” is super good (some queer parts too) but netflix kinda sabotaged it by changing the name two or three times after it had been released
