Park Ji Hoon is such a phenomenal actor. He often gets these really broken characters to play and pulls it off flawlessly but if you watch any behind the scenes stuff he is the cutest and sweetest little button you have ever seen. lol

iza

ooooh, here we gooooo!!🫡

Lisa Wilson

There is no way to be ready or prepared for this show! Time to enjoy the ride!

Ezekiel

Excited to start! watching along for the first time... :)

Dana

It may seem peculiar, but the atmosphere in this series evokes memories of the Dutch royal school drama you viewed. It possesses that sense of authenticity. Very unlike other Asian dramas I've seen in a school setting.

Lauren S

Jihoon as Sieun has like, the saddest eyes I've ever seen, always .2 seconds away from crying, my poor boy

Allison Jordan

Hi Brittany, just wanted to ask if you know when we can watch the other episodes please. Dying of impatients lol and hope your well and having a good day

Blue

Is the recording of the episode lagging like 5 secs behind for anyone else? 🥲

llamaboss3526

im just checking, is the show like way off for anyone else, like the audio to what is actually being shown

Bee

I have the same problem as the two comments above mine

Happygas_95

Same here, video is lagging behind the audio

mirka

Yeah, the same issue was with the first video but it fixed itself towards the end and in the second episode was fine at the start but after the credits the audio is way ahead of the video? I guess it happened when it had to be edited so the subtitles show up for us? I pulled the episode up myself and muted it and then synced the video to the audio from Brittany's reaction

Jennifer Gonzalez

i was waiting for the next episode! yes this show is so good. incredible, but a mess, and I was not ready for it. i finished it recently because I watched the first episode with you an adjust had to, and am still recovering. also the acting really impressed me.

iza

brittany, thank you so much for your reactions to weak hero! so sorry u had to deal with recording and editing issues :( and thank you again for taking your time to give us the best content, excited to watch your reaction to the rest of the series!

Dana

Still gritty and authentic. I might continue but it is very raw and the violence is getting to me. But no doubt this is a pretty well done series. I'm only on episode 3 as I'm watching it with you, I think as far as Canon is concerned the glasses boy is pinging me as the gay boy who has a crush on the athletic kid. I'm not getting queer vibes from anyone else, but there is a lot of shipping fanon/potential.

Olena

Such a captivating 🎬 movie. Well done. Hope to see the other parts soon. Thanks again! 😊

freya

Just wanted to say i’m so extremely happy to see you reacting to literally one of my favorite shows! I’ve been watching your reactions since the untamed and you’re definitely someone i always come back to for amazing commentary and lovely reactions! :) Me and my siblings look forward to every weak hero episode you upload ! sieun is a character we hold especially close to our hearts and we hope you come to adore him like we do <3 thank you so much

Lisa Wilson

The assemblyman can burn in hell, but that hospital scene will live in my brain forever. The smile!!!!

Marissa Cornett

I already feel sorry for you that you are going to cry more, girl.

Dana

Episode 5 is great. Just fantastic, what could go wrong. Bum Seok is dealing with a lot. He carries self-hatred, trauma, internalized homophobia, likely due to years of toxic masculinity and beatings being forced upon him. He's a sensitive guy trying to survive in a hostile environment where he's constantly mistreated and unsure of where he belongs and not sure of who he is. I'm sure this will turn out well. /s

Dana

After watching episode 6, my interpretation is that Bum Seok's downward spiral was triggered by his romantic feelings towards Si ho, indicating that he may be gay and struggling with related issues. As I mentioned in my previous comment, societal expectations of toxic masculinity and the pressure to conform may have led to his experience of being bullied for being different. His anger towards the new girl seems to have exacerbated his problems. Due to their young age, none of them have developed the maturity required to effectively cope with the multitude of issues they are facing, making the situation all the more tragic.

Blue

The series takes place before the webtoon and sieuns got a new group of friends that love and care about him 😭 sooho’s not in it aside from flashbacks and he’s still in a coma. They are honestly even closer in the webtoon than what was shown in the series so much so that their classmates thought they were dating 😆 I hope the webtoon continues and maybe sooho wakes up again 😭

Dana

Brittany I hate you. I would never watch anything like this, but you sucked me in and since I have no agency at all and an innocent victim, I had to go along and now I'm scarred. I'm going to go go rewatch Rokuhoudou Yotsuiro Biyori an anime about four guys wholesomely running a cafe and raising a cat together. Then I'm going to watch it again, because I don't think only one viewing could erase the trauma from my mind. ;)

Andjela

btw did you love sieuns and his revange for his boyfriend and andct of sieuns in last scenes

Lilah Kane

Episode 8 was brutal... I hate it. How dare they! And sorry, that it did not record. You know we like the drama, but I think our reaction for it was the same so we can imagine it. Still the finale was RUDE, rude, rude! 😭

Andjela

How Dare they who siuen just did what he Had to do take revenge for his Best friend and him

Max

I thank heavens every day for the fact that I haven't watched the first season before the second one came out, otherwise i would've been absolutely DESTROYED. I was shaking while re-watching this final episode NOW FOR THE S2 SPOILERS!!!! . . . For me the ending of S2 is actually perfect. Not only from the perspective of a fan, but also as a whole story. It says that yes, the world is brutal and unfair, especially to children, you will fight and you will lose things and people dear to you, but it also says that it's not hopeless. It's a heavy price to pay but sometimes, very rarely, miracles can happen. And also, I know that I'm kinda in the minority, but considering the overall track record with shows continuing past a certain point, (especially with netflix) I'd rather have S2 to be the finale of the series than have a subpar continuation that ruins the whole story. Because the start of the original webcomic was the endpoint of S1, and S2 was the whole thing, but there's nothing about what happens after? I don't even know the amount of starts that have to be aligned for the whole team making this show to be able to pull this off without dropping the ball completely. Just maybe let them escape the narrative and be happy for once, you know?..
