Episode 1

Episode 2

And we're back to ending episodes mid-scene 😩

*LIKE THIS POST if you're interested in these reactions, please! It will help me gauge interest and determine if I should keep filming or finish it on my own.

*Note: This series is technically not on my schedule, so it's gonna squeeze in here and there whenever I can manage it. The first two episodes are gonna go up on Youtube to see how they do, but I wouldn't be surprised if it became an After Dark vibe. Either way, it's here! I'm watching it! <3

*Episodes available on the Google Drive for those having trouble with WeTransfer.

！！！Thank you for reacting this，

Lilah Kane

Waiting every episode reaction to point, see, SEE! Brittany caught even more from the two episodes of the subtext than I did lol. And Brittany talking about the trio. Oh, just you wait gurrrrl. It is hard to NOT say anything, so even we need to wait. 🤩😏

OMG, I'm so excited! MLC is my favourite drama this year, and I've watched some excellent stuff! I even felt inspired to write fanfic again, and that doesn't happen very often.

This one is so good!❤️❤️❤️

Just started to watch it from the start in Discord on Pilot watch party channel. (Just to give IQiyi MLC some views) 😊

Wow! I’m so glad you watched this cdrama. This is one of the best drama of this year. There is nothing in the story from the beginning to end that make me disappointed. Hope you enjoy the show.😍

alright so 3 things: 1. the trio are absolutely multi- and poly-shippable. i personally dont ship Fang Duobing with Li Lianhua or Di Feisheng bc i see them as more similar to Jin Ling's relationship with WWX/LWJ, but i can definitely see how others do. 2. as far as Be Gay Solve Crime vs Be Gay Do Crime, we get both. sometimes simultaneously, 3. im really excited for Di Feisheng to get more screen time and get your reaction/thoughts on the dynamic with Li Lianhua, bc its so good. So. Good. and hes always on his Hot Boy Shit, so you have that to look forward to. ok time for my third watch-through.

When Brittany is able to continue the reactions, these are things that MLC is a master about and important. No spoilers! - Cinematography (Brittany noticed this already 😏) - Facial expressions, body movements, eyes (very important) - Subtitles and big story and side stories (Focus on them like your life depends on it) "Few re-watches" told me this. - Costumes, those beautiful costumes (Sometimes VERY color coded) Like black / white and red in the pilot start fight. - The Duo's, Trios and what not. (Just you wait) - MUSIC - I would say, binge about 2-3 episodes on next times you watch if you can. (Trust us) - Fox Spirit, the best boy IS the best boy - It is a shame you can't watch intro/outro yet. They are both beautiful. - Some episodes you need / You want to rewatch again. 😏 Still can't wait for your reactions!

It is really a wonder that a series has this long legs after it has aired. Last one was a TV presentation of few of the songs with the actors.

Alice K.

I’m still waiting

Silver

Really hope this gets picked up again nowthat I have seenthe series. Eager to see your reaction to the rest of the episodes.

It's alright, I can wait. I CAN WAIT!!!!!

Little birdy might have hinted something on a live, but really. We Guardians of the Lotus House have patience and we can wait. Here is again the survival post for Brittany: When she is able to continue the reactions, these are things that MLC is a master about and important aka watcher survival kit. No spoilers! - Pause as MUCH as you like. We won't mind. (We did it too) Dissecting the episodes or scenes is a treat. - Cinematography (Brittany noticed this already 😏) - Facial expressions, body movements, eyes (very important) - Subtitles (Sometimes, they go very fast in important parts like subtext) . Big stories and side stories are important (Focus on them like your life depends on them) "Few re-watches (5)" told me this. - Costumes, those beautiful costumes (Sometimes VERY color coded) Like black / white and red in the pilot start fight. - The Duo's, Trios and what not. (Just you wait) - MUSIC - I would say, binge about 2-3 episodes on next times you watch if you can. (Trust us. You saw the reason on episode 2 😁) - Fox Spirit, the best boy IS the best boy - In the original novel, it is clearly said that Lianhua build the Lotus Tower / house from Di Feisheng's ship wreckage. - It is a shame you can't watch intro/outro yet. They are both beautiful. - Some episodes you need / You want to rewatch again. 😏 + few other helpful bits will be added as more episodes pass. Can't wait for the rest of your reactions!

Ahhhhhhh, just finished watching these reactions and the episodes for the first time. I'm going insane, I had seen things so I thought it would be good, but this show is really really too much fun already. I hope to enjoy more episodes with Brittany when she gets the time :D

What I'd like to know is if Di Feisheng recognized bits of his old ship in Lotus Tower....?! :D
