Magda Luna - Exhaling The Evil (Patreon)

Exhaling The Evil - spending all your time trying to be so good, it’s gonna wear you down to a nub. Due for a purge, burn off the world, go somewhere hot and exhale the evil. A recurring thought I have in the steam room 🧖 but really being tightly wound and trying to do everything by the book and “right” has no more guarantee of succeeding than fucking up in your own terms.
I actually believe coloring in lines, “trying to be so good”, is a detriment to whatever goal you are trying to achieve because it’s a defined comfort zone. It’s a rigged game regardless so even if you think you are doing everything proper, you’re at the mercy w whoever said that was the proper way, who set the game rules. Like, these are the gender roles and husband/ wife roles, so conform.
Werner Herzog said all handshake deals are great and fulfilled, and all paper contracts nice and legal are a disaster. A model friend once told me she fainted at school and was charged $14k for a hospital which she worked her ass off to pay, and I was like you don’t have to pay that… it’s not just evil people who disregard rules and modes of conduct- everything is a rigged, constructed game and when you know that, failure doesn’t mean what it did before. Anyways, a very healing, forgiving song.
