(Set in the Walking Dead universe..)

You have been in the CDC labs for what feels like ages now, studying the virus with your wife. Without her positive mindset and her genius medical expertise, you would have crumbled long ago. But every caress, every kiss and smile she offers gives you strength. Her drive to find the cure for the outbreak is infectious. And so you remain by her side, and you keep pushing forward.

Until you can walk hand in hand in a safe world once more...

Note: This is a Commissioned work with a given script (from Jackson Neumann) aiming to be a tribute to Candace's heroic character, which was briefly mentioned in the Series. The romance is not as excessive as some of my other works per the commissioner's request. Still, I hope you all enjoy <3

I like this one. I hope it doesn't turn sinister as the doctors are responsible for the outbreak and using the curse for profit

No, nothing like that, although I will say Candace's story is pretty sad because she never does get to discover a cure (and with her brilliant mind/skills it is implied she would have) before she gets bitten herself. So the extended part will feature a different scientist from the French Labs being flirty with her assistant and very very frustrated to be locked underground for 33++ days..

Yes, unfortunately she does get bitten in the canonical story and asks her husband to record and study every bit of the process to understand the virus better in hopes of developing a cure. That's why the commissioner wanted this asmr as a tribute to her heroic character.

That makes it even more tragic work on a cure only to end up as a test subject after being bitten in hopes of developing a cure. That makes me think of the netflix series We Are All Dead. in the middle of the series a solider who was scheduled to go home from his military service the following day. But before he does, he volunteers to go into the zombie outbreak zone to try and find uninfected survivors. sadly, he gets bitten and goes through testing on the virus and how it can be reversed. While you hear the voice recording he had with his mom before he went on the mission.
