Don't cover up after you shower/bathe when you leave the bathroom 🚿

After you've dried yourself, leave your towel behind and walk to the next room in the nude...even if you're about to get dressed moments later.

I know, seems super simple, right?

BUT! For many of us, if you think about the conditioning around this very ‘normal’ and discreet habit of covering up we develop over the years and the symbolism behind it...not covering up when you normally would in that circumstance can make a HUGE difference to how you relate to your own nudity and, therefore, nudity in general. Especially for those of us who feel shame around our bodies or our nudity.

In essence, what we're doing here is working to rewire our neural pathways! Creating a NEW habit! A more mindful and conscious habit that is charged with intention and awareness.

So, if you've been keeping up-to-date with my Snapchat stories, you'll have seen that I've been posting about this for the last couple of days. This is your challenge for the week...especially for you closet and aspiring nudists 😉

Those of you looking to incorporate more nudity in your life.

We’re starting small...in the home. Home nudity is what we're dedicating July to here on Patreon 🥰

With the aim of building more and more confidence ✨

With the aim of getting acquainted with your own nudity first and foremost ✨

As we get older, most of us are taught that you need to cover up because others are ‘not meant to see you naked’. Yes, even in the privacy of our family homes.

If you think about what this programming does over years and years, and how it becomes more and more deeply engrained in more and more areas of our life, the byproduct is this sense of taboo around nudity that we see in modern day society. This sense of indecency, shame and sexualisation that is too commonly associated with nudity. This bizarre story that our nudity is somehow impure.

Very different to when we were babies and kids and our nudity wasn’t problematic, nor a concern we needed to even consider. Purity. The opposite of our now seemingly ‘impure’ nudity.

This covering up with a towel concept (even in our own home, even when no one is looking!!!) seems to stem from the idea that nudity is ‘inappropriate’ or ‘indecent’, thus breeding a sense of shame around our own bodies and nudity.

Whilst many of us are more than likely not consciously thinking about this as we cover up, I encourage you to look at WHY this has become a habit, and where it stems from.

I encourage you to try this challenge out for the next month...and hopefully it will become your new habit! I also did a little talk about 'what if I'm living in a shared house' kinda situation over on my Snapchat today, so be sure to check this out...especially if this is your current situation ☺️

With love,

Jessa

As someone who had recently felt like they've lost a bit of the lifestyle, this is an appreciated challenge. I accept.

O H

My loved one and I for more than 30 years by now, we always sleep naked and when getting out of bed and after morning routine we stay naked until circumstances tell us to get clothed. Mostly weekend bc of working and of course holidays. Challenge, yes of course
