The first 'Nude Beaches of Australia' episode from my 'North Queensland' series...

HORSESHOE BAY AKA 'CORAL BAY - THE NUDE BEACH THAT HAD US CONFUSED ⁉️

Horseshoe Bay, better described as 'Coral Bay', is an unofficial nude beach located in Bowen in the North Queensland Region of Australia. 

Whilst Bowen is better known for its iconic 'Big Mango', even better is their nude beach (and all their stunning beaches really?). 

The landscape is distinguished by beautiful large boulders, lots of pristine rocky bays and outcrops and fringing reef (I truly did not realise how beautiful Bowen was!). 

The only thing...it was SUPER confusing to find! It took Katya and I three attempts to find the actual clothing-optional beach! 

This episode follows us along for this hilarious and, at times, frustratingly confusing adventure! 

I was so excited to capture the landscape and large boulders from an aerial view on the drone...but, alas, I forgot it and didn't realise until I wanted to actually fly the drone! 

To our surprise, when we returned a few days later on our way up north, we weren't able to actually fly the drone in the area as the Bowen Airport was within 5km of flying distance...so the drone wouldn't actually take off! Something I'd never previously experienced with the drone. So, there you go! 

Along with all the mishaps, the confusion and scrambling over large boulders...the beach itself really is beautiful.
