Gex and Spyro [WIP, sketch] (Patreon)

I have waited SO LONG to do something with these two. I have the beginnings of doodles with them dating back to the early 2010s, but nothing ever came of them. I was inspired when I realized that both of them had scenes reclining in beach chairs under an umbrella! One was in Spyro 2 after defeating Gulp, the other being the intro to Gex 3, and I thought, "These two seem to relax the same way... they should do so together!"

I have several premises in mind for this one. The default one, by the time the first Spyro game came out, Gex had 2 games released. So once Spyro's game is released and turned out to be a huge hit, Gex goes on vacation with this fellow reptilian PlayStation platformer star in a sort of "getting to know the new blood" scenario. Take the new guy under his wing (even though he is the one without wings, ironically), let him know he has a friend in the industry who knows the ropes. And speaking of "showing the ropes," Gex shows that their relationship can be more than just business... Scalies gotta have each others' backs, after all!

You thought I'd stop there? I have two more versions planned!

And yes, one will be cheesy! For that one, Gex is showing off his impressive collection of the stuff to Spyro, who has some but has a way to go to catch up to Gex! The dialogue will be:
Gex: "Looks like someone doesn't clean under his [force kin]!"
Spyro: "Eh, yeah, sorry about that..."
Gex: "Why are you apologizing? I was talking about me!"
I may change Spyro's expression so that he's actually looking at Gex's shaft in surprise, but I don't know if that would be appropriate for the flow of the text. We'll see once I advance on this one!

And the final version is the one change you see in the two sketches I've provided. Spyro's skin is unfurled, and bunched up quite a bit at the tip! Continuing with phimosis themes, Spyro is the original dragon I wanted to give it to, and I figured this would be a good one to do it with! Poor guy only has clumsy dragon paws, after all. Gex tries to pull Spyro's hood down, but finds it's too tight to do so-- and he thinks it's cute as hell. No worries! They have their entire vacation to help Spyro do some stretching exercises! Or they can just enjoy it as it is! Spyro seems fine with it, so why not?
