Am I going overboard with these alternate versions? I mean, it's a ONE-CHARACTER portrait. Does it NEED 24 alts? I just want to see him in all these different ways while making it so you guys can enjoy it the way YOU want to as well, and making these alts is so easy! So, I'm sorry for there being so many versions. ^^; I try to make it easier on you by organizing them in a way that it's not hard to find the one you want.

Anyway, Valeford is a character that's been in constant transition. He's undergone a lot of changes in his appearance, his attitude, his anatomy-- hell, even his NAME changed at one point! This is just the most recent, completed revision of him. Will he change again? How much will he change? Who knows!

I've always loved that doodle I did of Valeford drunk, but it had a LOT of problems (specifically around the head). Once I found myself using that sketch as a reference for people who wanted to know what my character looks like, I decided to just go ahead and use it to make an official concept for him. I guess "concept" is the right word, since this isn't exactly a reference sheet, but you gotta admit, it covers a LOT of ground with him. Even some of the more unsavory aspects of him. ^^; Yeah, he's a dirty bird. Stubborn too. So he ain't gonna change 'cause you asked him!

You may notice that in some versions, his expression looks slightly more irritated. I just went with whichever one was more appropriate for what he was saying. All the no-text versions have him with the default kinda dazed look, as he often is after ingesting so much bourbon.
